- Các yếu tố then chốt:
- Công ty dự kiến lợi nhuận hoạt động Non-GAAP trong quý Q4 chiếm khoảng 66% doanh thu, phản ánh sự thay đổi cơ cấu lợi nhuận do tỷ trọng mảng kinh doanh AI biên lợi nhuận cao tăng lên.

Today's Observation
Broadcom delivered an earnings report that can be summed up as "AI accelerating, everything else slowing down." In FY2026 Q3, revenue came in at $29.591 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.32 both beat expectations, with AI semiconductor revenue reaching $16.7 billion—up 221% year-over-year—accounting for 56% of total revenue. The dividing line lies in next quarter's guidance: Q4 total revenue guidance of $34.80 billion missed the consensus estimate of $35.03 billion, while the AI semiconductor revenue guidance of $21.70 billion actually beat the consensus of $21.33 billion. Subtract the two and it becomes clear: AI is not what's holding things back.
Data in One Minute
Revenue of $29.591 billion, above the consensus estimate of $29.443 billion
Adjusted EPS of $3.32 on a Non-GAAP basis, above the consensus of $3.23; GAAP diluted EPS for the same period was $2.68
AI semiconductor revenue of $16.7 billion, up 221% year-over-year, representing 56% of total revenue and roughly 80% of semiconductor business revenue
Semiconductor solutions revenue of $20.839 billion, above the consensus of $20.509 billion; infrastructure software revenue of $8.752 billion, below the consensus of $8.877 billion—the only miss this quarter
Free cash flow of $13.665 billion
FY2026 Q4 revenue guidance of $34.80 billion, below the consensus of $35.03 billion; Q4 AI semiconductor revenue guidance of $21.70 billion, up 236% year-over-year, above the consensus of $21.33 billion
Working backwards from the guidance, Q4 non-AI business revenue would be approximately $13.1 billion, growing only 1.6% quarter-over-quarter from this quarter's $12.891 billion, while AI business is tracking toward nearly 30% quarter-over-quarter growth over the same period
The company also guided Q4 Non-GAAP operating profit at approximately 66% of revenue; management stated on the earnings call that FY2027 AI semiconductor revenue is expected to double to $115 billion, double again to approximately $230 billion by FY2028, with FY2028 adjusted EPS exceeding $30
MSX View
The point of contention in this earnings report is actually quite narrow. Q4 total revenue guidance came in 0.7% below consensus, but the AI portion beat by 1.7%: subtract the two, and non-AI business shows nearly zero sequential growth next quarter at just 1.6%. Broadcom's story has now converged into a single number: AI semiconductors' share of total revenue, from 56% this quarter to an estimated 62% next quarter based on guidance—a 6-percentage-point jump in one quarter. This is both its greatest strength and its greatest vulnerability. When over 60% of revenue comes from a handful of custom chip customers, any change in a single customer's capex pace gets amplified into fluctuations in overall guidance. Hock Tan's FY2028 target of $230 billion in AI revenue, measured against third-party estimates of the AI chip market size at that time, implies capturing roughly 40% market share—a figure that in itself speaks to the scale of the bet.
