Odaily News: Digital asset investment firm RockawayX will deploy $150 million through its Catapult program to provide venture capital, product structuring, liquidity, market-making, and distribution support for projects bringing real-world yield assets into DeFi. RockawayX manages approximately $2 billion in assets and has already deployed about $300 million onchain. The program will focus on areas including trade and supply chain finance, special asset-backed securities, CLOs, and real estate-related credit.
RockawayX CEO Viktor Fischer said that after trading, "yield" could become the largest use case onchain, and that new yield sources with annualized returns exceeding 12% and uncorrelated to crypto market trends will be needed in the future. Fischer also noted that the challenge with real-world assets (RWAs) is not tokenization itself, but rather the buyers, trading venues, and exit mechanisms after assets are tokenized. (CoinDesk)

Odaily News: Bank of America Securities has reiterated its "Buy" rating and $810 price target for Meta following the Meta Connect 2026 conference, believing that the newly launched personal agent Muse is becoming an important pillar of the company's consumer AI strategy. The institution noted that Muse has already gained initial user growth and has established partnerships with Walmart, Best Buy, Shopify, Expedia, and Instacart. It will also be integrated into smart glasses in the future and gradually expand across Meta's products and Reality Labs devices, potentially addressing the shortcomings of its hardware in smart assistant functionality.
On the monetization front, Meta plans to charge commissions on transactions completed through Muse, adding a new revenue stream. However, the company has not yet officially set a commission rate, and the related revenue contribution remains at an early stage. The scale of monetization and conversion effectiveness still require further observation.
Odaily reports that U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Commissioner Hester Peirce, speaking at the SIFMA Digital Assets Conference, stated that regulators should re-examine traditional financial surveillance methods and shift from "collecting more data" to using new technologies for more precise verification. She said that technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs can verify whether users meet requirements related to age, citizenship, accredited investor status, or sanctions lists without disclosing personal information such as name, income, or address; federal agencies and regulated entities can adopt attribute-based verification when technically feasible, and allow registered entities to rely more on third-party identity verification to reduce redundant collection and storage of sensitive information.
Odaily: Galaxy's head of research posted on X that Hester Peirce said society is currently at a crossroads: one path is to maintain the status quo—collecting more data, strengthening surveillance by intermediaries, and adding more "Know Your Customer" requirements, turning financial infrastructure into a panopticon; the other path is to leverage new technologies to improve the ability to catch criminals while collecting less personal information, and to protect Americans' privacy through more prudent surveillance.
Odaily reports that Tom Lee, Chairman of Ethereum treasury company Bitmine, said in an interview that this crypto market bull run could be larger than the past few cycles. He believes that crypto-related stocks have already led gains in the third quarter, indicating that the bull market has begun.

After years of consolidation, he expects the market to see a more decisive breakout, with upside potential that could exceed previous cycles.

Odaily reports: U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chair Mike Selig stated that after the Senate rejected the Clarity Act, the CFTC will still advance crypto market structure rulemaking, saying "now is the time to act."
Selig pointed out that the CFTC's existing statutory authority provides room for advancing rules without waiting for Congress to pass new legislation. The agency will also reassess existing rules applicable to 24/7 on-chain markets driven by algorithms and intelligent agents.
Related arrangements may include establishing a designated contract market category to allow exchanges to offer crypto leveraged trading under CFTC oversight; however, the CFTC does not have the authority to regulate the spot market on this basis, and spot market regulation still requires legislation. Odaily reports that well-known trader Bonk Guy posted that investors are currently being forced to sell high-conviction holdings due to market weakness, and this is precisely the most fragile phase. In his view, the truly difficult thing is not buying when the market is rising, but continuing to hold and buy the dip when the market falls into dullness and pain.
Bonk Guy added that recent market movements have largely aligned with his previous expectations. Over the past two weeks, on-chain market performance has been relatively volatile, especially showing a clear cooldown compared to the strong momentum of the previous 1 to 2 months. Aside from a few assets such as USELESS and STONK, most of the previously popular tokens have now declined, with some dropping more than 50%. Newly issued tokens have performed especially badly. Therefore, he still regards the fourth quarter as the key focus and believes that the past few months were merely a prologue. If the market continues to rise in the coming weeks as he expects, investors who sell their high-conviction holdings now may regret it.
