Fully open official bridge: Before this, there was a wave of Shiba Inu frenzy on the BASE chain, attracting a large amount of capital. However, most assets were in a state of being able to enter but not exit without an official bridge. Now, it is possible to freely move assets in both directions.

The Odyssey is very well known to everyone. This time, the Odyssey on both platforms is starting at the same time, lasting for one month, with surprises every day:

Let's talk about this exclusive Onchain Summer by BASE. This is an on-chain event jointly organized by 50 of the best developers, brands, products, artists, and creators, with a reward of 100 ETH for contributors. 

There are four ways to participate:

• On-chain summer art creation activity 

• Building tools and infrastructure 

• Building applications: ERC 4337 and account abstraction direction 

• Video competition: Together with cryptocurrencies

On-chain Summer Art Creation Event (August 9th to 18th)

Example Projects:

• Create an on-chain summer PFP series for all NFT holders.

• Create a website to visualize the on-chain summer activities on Base.

• Create your own version of the http://onchainsummer.xyz website.

• Find a way to make user participation easier through a better bridging experience.

• Issue an NFT that captures the essence of on-chain summer.

Building Tools and Infrastructure (August 12th to 23rd)

Example Projects:

• Build and launch a new game on Base.

• Build an on-chain social network on Base using social protocols.

• Create a P2P payment dapp on Base for quick transactions.

• Build a Dune dashboard to showcase on-chain data of Base.

• Build a cross-chain governance tool.

Building Applications: ERC 4337 and Account Abstraction Direction (August 16th to September 13th)

Example Project 1:

• Build a paymaster that offers free transactions based on specific conditions, such as holding a specific NFT.

• Build a smart contract wallet with new or improved features, such as partnering with Coinbase Wallet-as-a-Service to provide web2 authorization experience in on-chain interactions or use for key recovery or additional signers.

Example Project 2:

• Build a decentralized application (dapp) or interface that provides a user-friendly experience using account abstraction. For example, improve the ecosystem's EIP by defining a new wallet RPC suitable for account abstraction wallets.

Video Contest: Together with Cryptocurrency (August 14th to 24th)

"This is a one-minute video contest where you can share with the world why you think cryptocurrency is so important. We are looking for entries that include exciting cryptocurrency stories or use cases, cryptocurrency education, or advocacy for sensible legislation."

In addition to funding, we are also collaborating with other Superchain members to host the virtual hackathon Superhack from August 4th to 18th. The hackathon prize pool is $125,000. (Application Link)
