Odaily Planet Daily News: Decentralized BRC 2.0 AMM Swap: CatSwap has been launched on the Bitcoin mainnet, and now all 6-character BRC 20 tokens are open for trading and added liquidity functions. 4/5-character tokens (such as ORDI and SATS) will be opened in the second phase of BRC 2.0.

BRC 2.0 is an upgraded version of the BRC 20 protocol developed by domo and Best in Slot. The first phase of the project was launched on September 1, opening up the programmability of the 6-character BRC 20 token. The second phase is expected to start soon.

According to official introduction, the launch of CatSwap marks the first time that the Bitcoin mainnet has implemented programmable swaps for native BRC 20 assets. Through AMM transactions and liquidity pool mechanisms, it has completely broken through the original functional limitations of the BRC 20 protocol.

CatSwap simultaneously launched the ORDI & BRC 20 strategy, aiming to attract more liquidity and trading volume to the platform by improving ORDI's on-chain liquidity.
