According to official news from Odaily Planet Daily, Plasma and Maple have announced the launch of a $200 million syrupUSDT pre-deposit pool, providing initial liquidity support and offering exclusive XPL rewards to participants. The pre-deposit pool will officially open at 9:00 PM Beijing time today, with a two-month lockup period and a minimum deposit of $125,000. Supported assets include syrupUSDT, USDT, and USDC. All users are welcome to participate, and permissionless.

Participants will earn income from XPL rewards released upon launch, SyrupUSDT staking income (interest earned from Maple institutional loans), and Drips from Maple's ongoing rewards program (an additional 50% bonus). Furthermore, with the launch of the Plasma mainnet, users will be able to earn additional SyrupUSDT through DeFi opportunities. $2 billion in loanable supply will be available on the first day.
