Uniswap CEO: We are considering acquiring top DeFi projects and L2 through a one-time ETH inflation, although it is unlikely to be realized

Odaily News Hayden Adams, CEO of Uniswap, said in a post on X: “To be honest, I have been thinking about an EIP for many years, which is to acquire top DeFi projects and L2 through a one-time ETH inflation.
DAOs can be submitted on-chain in advance so that everything happens at the same time. Make DeFi + L2 free, and the only code left is ETH. All supplementary projects are commoditized.
I have never advocated for this move because it seems unlikely to happen, but the impact it would have is not negligible and, in my opinion, worthwhile for Ethereum.”
