Anthropic's Q2 revenue exceeds $11.5 billion, up at least 14x year-over-year

Odaily News According to Bloomberg, Anthropic's preliminary Q2 revenue exceeded $11.5 billion, representing a year-over-year increase of at least 14 times from $787 million in the same period last year, and also higher than the $4.73 billion reported in Q1 this year. The company achieved positive adjusted operating profit for the quarter. Anthropic was once in a catch-up position in the AI race, but its business growth has accelerated significantly thanks to a growing number of professionals using its software to streamline workflows such as coding. In May this year, Anthropic's annualized revenue had already surpassed $47 billion. By comparison, OpenAI previously disclosed annualized revenue of over $40 billion, though the calculation methodologies between the two may not be entirely consistent.
