Nigeria plans to establish AI and blockchain research centers across the country

Odaily News The Nigerian government, through the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has unveiled plans to establish research centers in six geopolitical regions of the country, focusing on key areas including the Internet of Things, blockchain technology, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and robotics. In addition to funding research, NITDA also aims to support Nigerian startups in developing products using these emerging technologies.
