BMAG (Bitcoin Museum & Art Gallery) will make its debut at Bitcoin Asia 2026, bringing a Card Expo to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 27-28. The event merges a world-class card show with refined gallery art programming. BMAG is the art and culture division of BTC Inc., a subsidiary of Nakamoto Inc. (NASDAQ: NAKA).
This marks the first time BMAG has brought a full-scale card show to the summit venue: a merchant marketplace centered on Bitcoin-native businesses, featuring renowned merchants from Hong Kong and across Southeast Asia; a TCG esports arena with Bitcoin prizes; an on-site pack-opening stage; and live grading and authentication services. Curated card collections, original artworks, and collectible showcases will surround the entire exhibition area, forming a curated gallery wall. Since 2019, BMAG has facilitated over 130 BTC and USD 10 million in art and collectible transactions.
Dennis Koch, Director and Curator of BMAG, stated: "Bitcoin, art, and collectibles are the same culture. A world-class card show deserves to exist within the world's largest Bitcoin conference. Card collectors and Bitcoin believers share the same mindset: what is real, what is rare, and what retains value across time."
Cards and Bitcoin speak the same language: verifiable scarcity, auditable authenticity, and market-defined value. The Card Expo is designed after authentic card shows, with cards and collectibles available for purchase and bidding, supporting payment in Bitcoin and other methods. Bitcoin runs through the entire experience: prizes for esports competitions, payment methods at vending machines in the exhibition area, and a first-of-its-kind opportunity for merchants to list and sell inventory priced in Bitcoin. For many merchants, this will be their first time accepting Bitcoin for card purchases, making the Card Expo both a marketplace and a Bitcoin onboarding moment. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cards for grading or resale. Museum-grade core exhibits will be announced in the coming weeks.
