ChangXin Memory Technologies Closes Up 465.82% on Debut
Odaily reports that ChangXin Memory Technologies debuted yesterday, closing up 465.8%, setting multiple A-share records, with a full-day trading volume exceeding 140 billion yuan and a total market capitalization of 3.28 trillion yuan.
ChangXin Memory Technologies Sets Multiple A-Share Records in First Hour of Trading
Odaily reports that ChangXin Memory Technologies, a leading domestic memory manufacturer, listed on the STAR Market and immediately broke multiple A-share historical records: 1) The first A-share tech stock with an opening market cap exceeding 3 trillion yuan, with an opening total market cap of approximately 3.31 trillion yuan; 2) Topped the STAR Market by market cap, surpassing Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation to become the highest-valued listed company on the board; 3) The first single stock in A-shares to exceed one trillion yuan in daily trading volume, surpassing 100 billion yuan in the first hour of trading, on track to set another record; 4) The first new stock in A-shares with both a trillion-level trading volume and over 50% turnover rate, combining massive volume and high turnover for unprecedented trading activity.
Odaily reports, citing The Information and sources familiar with the matter, that a Shanghai-based state-owned enterprise has begun mass production of self-developed DUV (deep ultraviolet) lithography equipment, marking significant progress in the localization of China's semiconductor industry.
The company plans to produce about 5 DUV lithography machines in 2026, expanding to about 20 in 2027. While the gap remains compared to Dutch giant ASML (which delivered 131 immersion DUV lithography systems last year), breaking into mass production of domestic DUV equipment means China's chip manufacturing supply chain is moving towards greater self-sufficiency.
Sources say this batch of domestic DUV lithography machines is scheduled for delivery to major Chinese chip manufacturers, including SMIC, Hua Hong Semiconductor, and memory chip maker ChangXin Memory Technologies.
ChangXin Memory, a representative company in China's DRAM industry, is expected to be a key adopter of this advanced domestic semiconductor manufacturing equipment. If the domestic DUV equipment operates stably in production lines at companies like ChangXin, it could further reduce China's memory chip industry's dependence on key foreign equipment.
Yuliagsheng, SMIC, Hua Hong, and ChangXin Memory did not respond to requests for comment.
