Trump Supports CFTC's Exclusive Jurisdiction Over Prediction Markets
US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, stating that it is crucial for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to maintain "exclusive jurisdiction" over prediction markets, echoing the stance of CFTC Chairman Michael Selig.
Trump also stated that the US is formulating relevant rules, referencing his campaign promise to make the US a hub for cryptocurrency and Bitcoin-related fields. Under the leadership of sole Commissioner Selig, the CFTC has filed lawsuits and amicus briefs against multiple states to assert its jurisdiction over prediction markets. The related dispute centers on whether prediction market contracts related to sports and entertainment are considered 'prediction products' and whether contracts offered by regulated Designated Contract Markets (DCMs) should be under CFTC jurisdiction.
OKX Launches Exchange OS: An Open Trading Infrastructure Built on X Layer
According to official news, OKX has officially released the Exchange OS whitepaper. Anyone can independently deploy spot, perpetual swap, and prediction markets on Exchange OS without platform approval. User funds are custodied by the protocol's smart contracts, and no single entity can unilaterally call them; OKX's own market and external markets follow the same set of protocol rules.
Additionally, Exchange OS supports cross-market unified accounts, allowing users to participate in multiple market types simultaneously with the same capital.

Kenya Proposes 10% Consumption Tax on Crypto Trading Platforms
Kenya's 2026 Finance Bill proposes a 10% consumption tax on Virtual Asset Service Providers. The bill also requires crypto companies to pay a one-time licensing fee of 150 million Kenyan Shillings and an annual renewal fee of 2 million Kenyan Shillings before operating locally, and to submit annual reports containing user and transaction details to the Kenya Revenue Authority.
Analysts believe this move could drive some crypto platforms and users to relocate to countries more friendly to the crypto industry, potentially weakening Kenya's position in the African crypto market.
Although the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act are promoting stablecoin compliance, stablecoins remain fundamentally 'private money' and could introduce structural risks to the financial system.
The article points out that while stablecoins aim to combine the stability of the US dollar with the efficiency of blockchain payments, they operate on fragmented, private infrastructure and lack the uniformity of the traditional dollar system. Although USDT and USDC are pegged to the dollar, their price can still deviate from $1.

Bitget Launches RWA Protocol Reality, Providing Direct Access to US Stock Liquidity and Dividends
Bitget has announced the launch of Reality, a licensed financial protocol focused on Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. Its issued tokenized stocks (rTokens) are strictly pegged 1:1 to the underlying US stocks, with assets custodied by a FINRA-registered, SIPC-protected US securities broker, and provide real-time proof of reserves through third-party independent audits. By directly accessing US stock liquidity pools like Nasdaq and NYSE, Reality's stock tokens achieve liquidity comparable to traditional brokerages. Furthermore, stock dividends will be distributed 1:1 in token form to user accounts, cash dividends will be automatically converted and distributed as USDT, and stock splits and reverse splits will be instantly mirrored on-chain, offering an experience highly consistent with holding actual US stocks.
