Step-by-Step Participation Guide
STEP 1. Enter the game interface (link: https://app.thebeacon.gg/season-one), click "Sign in" to log in via a Web3 wallet.
STEP 2. For a better gaming experience, download the game from the EPIC Games Store (you can also try the web version first).
STEP 3. Click "PLAY" to enter the game. Use the "W, S, A, D" keys to move your character "up, down, left, right."

Gameplay Guide
Currently, there are only two main routes available in Season 1 of The Beacon. First, heading straight up on the main game screen leads to the "Dungeon." Grinding the dungeon yields Shadow Shards, which can be exchanged for Umbra Chests.
Each dungeon run consumes 20 energy points (players start with 100 energy). You can choose between a bow and a dagger as your weapon to challenge the game and earn Shadow Shards.
Second, heading straight right on the main game screen leads to Kraken Klash. Here, players place bets on which grid they think the random marker will land on. Guessing correctly rewards Goblin Tokens (NPCs in Kraken Klash offer exchange rates for Shadow Shards, Goblin Tokens, and Glint Coins).
Chests and Rewards
Season 1 rewards are divided into Cosmetics and BCN tokens. For free-to-play players, cosmetics are account-bound. For premium players, cosmetics are NFTs. Players can become premium players by purchasing the "Starter Pack."
Additionally, chests are the primary method for obtaining rewards in Season 1. There are 3 types of chests, as detailed below:
1. Umbra Chests: Obtained by collecting Shadow Shards. These chests contain cosmetics and a small amount of BCN tokens.
Umbra Chests come in both free and premium versions. In the free version, the probability of an Umbra Chest being Common is 59.06%; Rare is 30.94%; Epic is 8.00%; Legendary is 2.00%. They drop 1 to 3 cosmetics.
The premium version has the same chest level probabilities and cosmetic drop quantity but additionally provides BCN tokens: a 65% chance of 0 BCN; 25% chance of 1 BCN; 9% chance of 5 BCN; 1% chance of 30 BCN.
2. Kraken Chests: Obtained by collecting Goblin Tokens. These chests contain exclusive cosmetics and a large amount of BCN tokens.
Kraken Chests come in both free and premium versions. In the free version, the probability of a Kraken Chest being Common is 37%; Rare is 44%; Epic is 13%; Legendary is 6%. They drop 3 cosmetics.
The premium version has the same chest level probabilities and cosmetic drop quantity but additionally provides BCN tokens: a 37% chance of 5 BCN; 30% chance of 10 BCN; 22% chance of 21 BCN; 8.5% chance of 50 BCN; 2.5% chance of 210 BCN.
3. Glint Chests: Obtained by collecting Glint Coins. These chests contain exclusive cosmetics and a large amount of BCN tokens.
Glint Chests only have a premium version. The probability of a Glint Chest being Common is 37%; Rare is 44%; Epic is 13%; Legendary is 6%. They drop 3 cosmetics. Additionally, they provide BCN tokens: a 48% chance of 4 BCN; 30% chance of 7 BCN; 15% chance of 12 BCN; 6% chance of 30 BCN; 1% chance of 100 BCN.
