Recently, I talked with many investors and friends who are doing DAO incubation. Everyone is very curious. What are the DAO Tools incubated inside DAO? What type of DAO Tool is the community developing.
In the Web3 social track, community-first becomes the third path (the other two are protocol-first, product-first). A Tokenized community will develop its own tools and applications, serve its own community, and turn itself into a "Customer No. 0", and then gradually expanded to other communities. With this model, what types of DAO Tools have emerged?

Upvote, a "forum + voting" similar to Metaforo
At that time, the FWB community felt that the Discourse forum was too difficult to use, and that Discord was difficult to use for complex governance discussions and voting. There was no "forum + voting" product suitable for DAO on the market, so a team was formed to develop Upvote.

DAOLink
Visualize/gamify the community, making onboarding and community discussions more fun.
A DAO version Gather.town has been developed, and at the same time, the organizational structure of Discord can be imported into DAOLink with one click to form a visual community. DAOLink currently uses Discord as a user portal and exists in the form of components to help DAO organizations better complete onboarding.

4. JokeDAO's voting system, a more community-based snapshot
The voting system developed by JokeDAO was originally used to rank each joke every week.
Because the design of the voting system is very flexible and community-based, many new small and beautiful DAOs, such as rehash, are beginning to adopt it.
The main highlights of the voting system developed by JokeDAO are as follows:
Some DAOs do not have tokens;
JokeDAO's voting system can temporarily issue Tokens for a certain vote, which is used for one-time voting. 14 tokens will also be issued for each NFT, and DAO's NFT holders can vote for multiple options in the voting. In early August, Not Boring founder Packy McCormick posted an idea on twitter. People with ideas leave ENS, and then use JokeDAO’s voting system to send Tokens to these people, allowing them to post proposals, vote, and make things happen.
Onchain execution after voting. Some tokens can be pledged, and after the vote is passed, it will be automatically executed on the chain (such as distribution of tokens, automatic mint NFT, etc.);

7. LexDAO's Kali, a more community-based Syndicate

LexDAO Focus on research on legal issues involved in Web3 products. A DAO Tool has been developed internally to help users establish DAOs quickly and in compliance, and at the same time, it can introduce LexDAO consulting services.
