Odaily News: Paradis posted on X platform, stating that Goldman Sachs pointed out that memory in humanoid robots is expected to account for up to 40% of their semiconductor value, excluding GPU and CPU.
Goldman Sachs noted that while memory configurations may vary, their assumption is that each humanoid robot carries an average of approximately 128GB of DRAM memory and about 1TB of NAND non-volatile memory. Based on this assumption, the serviceable addressable market per unit for DRAM is $250–$350, for NAND is $350–$450, bringing the total memory serviceable addressable market per unit to $600–$800 or higher.
Given the high edge computing loads in humanoid robots, Goldman Sachs expects at least part of the memory in each system to adopt HBM. HBM is primarily supplied by Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix, and in the short term, Chinese memory manufacturers, including ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), may face limited competition. Whether humanoid robot manufacturers will source HBM and traditional DRAM separately from different suppliers remains to be seen.
DRAM and NAND memory prices may fluctuate, but Goldman Sachs used approximate market prices at the time of writing in its assumptions, as many long-term agreements have already been signed at these price levels.

Odaily News: In an exclusive interview, JPMorgan China equity strategist Zhang Xiaoning told reporters that AI hardware supply constraints will last at least until 2028, and that mainstream tech companies' bond ratings are all at investment grade, making debt concerns an "overreaction." The bank continues to overweight Chinese equities, setting its end-2026 baseline target points for the MSCI China Index and the CSI 300 Index at 100 and 5,200, respectively, with bear-case scenarios at 80 and 4,000.
Zhang Xiaoning said the AI technology sector is expected to remain the core theme of the Chinese market in the second half of the year. JPMorgan expects AI to re-establish its market leadership, viewing the current pullback as a healthy rotation rather than the end of the AI cycle. Foreign investors remain most focused on the strength of macroeconomic policy support and the pace of implementation of the "six networks" investment. (21st Century Business Herald)
Odaily News - Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Simon Harris, has announced that the new state-supported savings and investment scheme will exclude crypto assets and derivatives. The initiative aims to encourage residents to channel bank deposits into traditional capital markets, with Irish household bank deposits standing at approximately $197 billion, and cash accounting for around 38% of financial assets.
The scheme is open to tax-resident individuals aged 18 and over, allowing them to hold exchange-traded funds, listed company shares, and corporate bonds under a simplified tax regime, replacing the 33% capital gains tax and 41% fund exit tax with a fixed annual fee above the tax-free threshold. Specific operational details are expected to be published in October, with accounts slated to launch in 2027.
Ireland's Department of Finance has issued a national anti-money laundering strategy running through 2030. Under the new rules, starting in 2027, regulated service providers must verify ownership of external wallets when processing transfers exceeding $1,150 from non-custodial wallets, and use automated controls to identify transfers with incomplete transaction information.
