Statement: Odaily is not affected by the DarkSword attack, and the App has no security risks
Odaily News: Yesterday, BlockBeats suffered a cyberattack, which caused abnormalities on its website. Meanwhile, some Odaily App users received security alerts from the Apple system, which led to market misunderstandings that Odaily had also been affected by the attack.
In response, we hereby formally state: Odaily is not affected by the DarkSword attack, and the App has not been affected by this security incident.
The actual reason is that the Odaily App was temporarily removed from the App Store last week due to issues related to the Apple developer account. We have communicated with Apple officials and are pushing forward with resolving the issue. We are currently in the process of reviewing a new version and restoring the app to the store. Due to the large backlog in App Store reviews recently, the update and relisting are expected to be completed next week.
It should be emphasized that this removal was an operational issue caused by adjustments to the entity of the company's own developer account, and is unrelated to regulatory policy, business compliance, App content, or platform security.
The alerts received by some users were notifications issued by the Apple system regarding the app's status, and are unrelated to the DarkSword attack or to any security issues with the Odaily App itself. Because the two incidents occurred close together in time, unnecessary misunderstandings were caused.
The Odaily App is currently operating normally, and existing users can continue to use it as usual. This incident does not involve Odaily security issues or any security risks caused by the DarkSword attack.
Thank you to all users and partners for your attention and trust. We will promptly update everyone on the progress of the App's relisting and updates.
