Lisk Chain Shuts Down as Lisk Pivots to Enterprise Financial Platform

Odaily reports: According to an official blog post, Lisk has announced that Lisk Chain was shut down on November 2, 2026, and Lisk will pivot to become a modern financial platform for enterprises. LSK will continue to operate as Lisk's loyalty token on Ethereum; following the shutdown, approximately 5.2 million LSK remaining in the staking rewards contract will be burned, including unallocated rewards and rewards that were earned but not yet claimed.
