Odaily News: So far in 2026, blockchain companies in Southeast Asia have completed $680 million in equity funding, more than double the $319 million raised in all of 2025. However, the number of funding rounds dropped from 46 last year to 25, indicating that capital is further concentrating toward more mature companies. Among these, Crypto.com's $400 million Series D round accounts for nearly 60% of this year's total funding.

By sector, crypto financial services led with $498 million in funding, followed by tokenization platforms with $114 million and decentralized application development platforms with $77 million. By region, Singapore accounts for 82.5% of the cumulative $6.2 billion raised by Southeast Asia's blockchain industry. (CoinDesk)
