BitGo Launches Global Markets Institutional Trading and Financial Services Division, with Former NYDIG Executive Pete Janney as Head

Odaily: Digital asset infrastructure company BitGo has announced the launch of its Global Markets division, integrating liquidity, trade execution, financing, derivatives, and settlement services, led by former NYDIG executive Pete Janney. BitGo acquired NYDIG's institutional and trading business on August 27, with approximately 30 employees joining as part of the deal. Global Markets will offer spot and block OTC trading, crypto asset-collateralized financing, options, swaps, custom structured products, asset management strategies, private funds, and research services, with clearing and settlement handled by Go Network. BitGo Prime, which has been operating since 2020, will also be folded into the division. BTGO rose 3.4% in pre-market trading on Wednesday.
