Odaily Planet Daily News, September 4: The lower house of Poland's parliament failed to override President Karol Nawrocki's veto of a cryptocurrency regulation bill. The vote was 241 in favor of overriding the veto, 198 against, and 3 abstentions, falling 25 votes short of the required 266. The bill, which would designate the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) as the crypto market regulator, had already been vetoed by Nawrocki for a third time. The President argued that the bill over-regulates the industry and could force Polish companies to relocate overseas. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, citing an investigation related to the collapsed exchange Zondacrypto, called on lawmakers to support the bill before the vote.
