FTX: Creditors should be wary of phishing emails and fraudulent websites
2025-10-05 12:40

According to Odaily Planet Daily, FTX issued a statement on X, warning creditors to be wary of phishing emails and fraudulent websites. Scammers are impersonating bankruptcy reorganization administrators Kroll Restructuring Administration and FTX Recovery Trust to send deceptive emails claiming that users are eligible for repayments ranging from 118% to 142%. They also trick users into clicking on fraudulent links or visiting fake websites to connect their wallets or confirm information.

FTX emphasized that the official will not ask users to connect their wallets or provide personal information to claim funds via email, and urged creditors to only consult the official website and be vigilant of any suspicious emails.
