On October 4th, 1 Minute revealed that MetaMask's GitHub page had added details of a points calculation system. Points are based on spot and futures trading volume on MetaMask, and bonus points are provided for past activity.

MetaMask points are calculated as follows:

- Futures trading: 10 points for every $100 USD traded
