According to Odaily Planet Daily, staking infrastructure Kiln announced that following yesterday's Solana incident involving SwissBorg, as part of its response measures, Kiln began an orderly exit from all of its Ethereum (ETH) validator nodes today to ensure the security of customer assets after the incident. The exit process is expected to take 10 to 42 days, depending on the validator. After that, withdrawals will be completed according to the network's schedule, which will take up to 9 days. During the exit period, validators can still receive rewards. Kiln emphasized that once potential vulnerabilities in the infrastructure are discovered, they will take immediate action. Exiting validator nodes is a responsible move to protect the safety of stakers. Kiln has suspended some services on its staking platform, such as the Kiln Dashboard, Widget, and API.
In addition, Cyrus Fazel, CEO of Swiss crypto exchange SwissBorg, denied that hackers broke into his wealth management company yesterday and stole $41 million in funds, but attributed the attack to an external DeFi wallet held by its SOL staking partner Kiln.
