According to an official announcement, Bitcoin treasury company Nakamoto announced today that it will invest $30 million in Japanese company Metaplanet. This investment represents Nakamoto's largest single investment to date and marks its first foray into the Asian market. The investment is part of Metaplanet's international equity financing, with the capital injection expected to be completed on September 16th, and the issuance and delivery of common stock on September 17th.

Earlier news indicated that MetaPlanet plans to raise 212.9 billion yen through an overseas additional issuance, most of which will be used to increase its holdings of Bitcoin.
