According to Odaily Planet Daily, Metaplanet announced that it has decided to issue an additional 385 million shares through an international offering at a price of 553 yen per share, raising approximately 2.13 trillion yen (approximately US$1.444 billion). Approximately 1.84 trillion yen of the proceeds will be used to purchase Bitcoin, and approximately 20.4 billion yen will be used for Bitcoin revenue generation. Upon completion of the offering, the company's total share capital will increase to 1.141 billion shares.
