Arizona man pleads guilty to $13 million crypto Ponzi scheme

According to the U.S. Department of Justice's official website, Arizona man Vincent Anthony Mazzotta Jr. has pleaded guilty to money laundering and obstruction of justice in connection with cryptocurrency investment fraud. Mazzotta and his accomplices manipulated Mind Capital and other platforms, luring investors with high returns using "AI quantitative trading robots" and defrauding them of over $13 million. They also fabricated a "Federal Reserve of Cryptocurrency" in a secondary scam. Mazzotta faces up to 15 years in prison.
