Delphi Ventures founding partner: Beam Chain proposal is disappointing, Ethereum Foundation needs bigger dreams

Odaily News José Maria Macedo, founding partner of Delphi Ventures, said in a post on X that after reading the X post by Doug Colkitt, founder of Ambient (Note: Colkitt predicted the content of the proposal of Justin Drake, core researcher of the Ethereum Foundation yesterday), I was excited about the vision of ETH 3.0, but Justin Drake's actual proposal was disappointing. This is basically a refactored code base that can achieve a block speed of 4 seconds and quantum resistance. These features will be realized in 2029-2030. These upgrades alone are not enough to make Ethereum Layer1 competitive, or even to make people believe that it is competitive. The Ethereum Foundation needs to have bigger dreams.
