US judge sentences Forcount crypto Ponzi scheme founder to up to 240 months in prison

Odaily News Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that on October 15, 2024, JUAN TACURI, a senior promoter of the cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme Forcount (later known as Weltsys), was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres to a maximum of 240 months in prison.
