Tether CEO: Tether is currently one of the world's three largest short-term U.S. debt holders

Odaily News Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, wrote on the X platform that USDT is bringing dollars to hundreds of millions of people living in developing countries around the world who need an alternative to local currencies because local currencies are rapidly depreciating. Tether has been investing its stablecoin reserves in U.S. Treasuries and has become one of the world's three largest holders of short-term U.S. debt.
