Odaily News Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, issued a post on the X platform to counter the recent negative reports about USDT. Facts show that USDT is able to leverage the transparency of blockchain technology and cooperate with global law enforcement agencies and comply with requirements. Its achievements include: - Tether's cooperation with Chainalysis helps its team have first-class software and training for proactive monitoring activities; - Since its inception, Tether has cooperated with 124 law enforcement agencies in more than 40 different countries; - Since its inception, Tether has blocked more than $1.3 billion in funds, mainly related to fraud, hacking, ML, and approximately $1.6 million related to terrorist financing; - In the past 12 months, Tether has cooperated on a voluntary basis with 98 requests from law enforcement to block wallets (90 of which were from US law enforcement agencies), and in the past 3 years, it has cooperated with 339 such requests (158 of which were from US law enforcement agencies). - Tether cooperated with US law enforcement and blocked more than $639 million in transactions; - Tether cooperated with the Israeli NBCTF and Ukrainian law enforcement; - Tether cooperates directly with law enforcement agencies, while other stablecoins, although they claim to be "more compliant", require a judge's order and even allow hackers, scammers and criminals to transfer funds for a long time.
