Haru is a Chinese encryption artist with a professional background in the Department of Mathematics, and later transferred to major in Landscape Architecture Design. Haru specializes in urban green space planning and has participated in architectural design projects such as urban parks, residences, kindergartens, museums and villas. Since 2020, he has been exposed to blockchain and encrypted art, and is committed to the organic combination of art and blockchain.

Haru: I learned about crypto art last year, and only this year I started to get in touch formally and try to create some works. I was quite confused at the beginning. Although I had many ideas, I didn’t know how to realize them. I just started to create a series of lonely cats recently.

Haru: Blockchain technology has played a positive role in the entire art field. It combines art creation and art collection together and provides security. The blockchain also allows buyers to own shares of artworks. The decentralization of ownership makes the market more transparent and removes intermediaries, making it easier for people to buy artworks.

Q4: Where does the inspiration for your usual creation come from?
Haru: Many of the inspirations for my usual creations come from my own daily life, and I condense some bits and pieces of life into my paintings. In addition, due to the influence of the previous architectural design major, we will also draw inspiration from some buildings.
