JUST Brand Strategic Upgrade: Three Core Businesses—JustLend, USDD, and GasFree—Operate in Synergy as JST Buyback-and-Burn Mechanism Undergoes Diversified Upgrade
- Core Viewpoint: JUST has completed its brand strategic upgrade, integrating JustLend, USDD, and GasFree into a unified portal for a multi-protocol ecosystem, while simultaneously upgrading the JST buyback-and-burn mechanism so that revenue from all three businesses jointly reinforces JST's long-term value.
- Key Elements:
- JUST has integrated JustLend (lending and resource market), USDD (decentralized stablecoin), and GasFree (gas-free transfers) into three core products, governed uniformly by the upgraded JUST DAO.
- The JST buyback-and-burn mechanism now incorporates GasFree business revenue, with funding covering all three business lines; a treasury reserve of no less than $50 million will be maintained long-term, and approximately $20.34 million in existing funds will be withdrawn in a one-time move for subsequent buybacks.
- The first five rounds of buyback-and-burn have cumulatively burned over 1.881 billion JST, accounting for more than 19% of the original supply, with cumulative real buyback funds exceeding $118 million.
- GasFree has seen continuous revenue growth since its launch in March 2025, with cumulative historical revenue of approximately $12.027 million as of Q3 2026, and will be officially included in the buyback plan starting Q4 2026.
- The executing entity for buybacks has been changed from the original JustLend DAO to JUST DAO, which will coordinate fund collection and deployment pace.
- A new version of the whitepaper has been released simultaneously, systematically explaining the ecosystem architecture, the three core products, and the JST economic model.
Following the successful completion of JST's fifth buyback-and-burn, on October 23, JUST, the core financial infrastructure of the TRON ecosystem, officially completed a strategic brand refresh: while carrying out a comprehensive reorganization of JUST's brand business ecosystem and consolidating its unified entry point, the buyback-and-burn mechanism for its native token JST was simultaneously upgraded to a new diversified phase. This is not merely an upgrade of brand image, but a systematic leap forward by JUST toward becoming a unified entry point for a multi-protocol ecosystem.

Under the new brand system, JUST brings together three core products—the decentralized lending and resource market JustLend, the decentralized stablecoin USDD, and the on-chain transfer solution GasFree—under a single unified brand. At the same time, JUST DAO, upgraded from the former JustLend DAO, serves as the governance and co-building hub of the entire ecosystem, coordinating governance decisions, product synergies, and JST value empowerment across all business lines.
Through this in-depth integration and reorganization, JUST has built a one-stop open center for on-chain financial networks on the strength of its three business lines, covering the full chain of scenarios including lending and resource services, stablecoin issuance and yield generation, and on-chain transfer and payment solutions, enabling previously fragmented business capabilities to converge at a single entry point and collaboratively unleash ecosystem network effects.
If brand integration is the "explicit main thread" of this refresh, then the upgrade of the JST buyback-and-burn mechanism is its ecosystem's "hidden value thread." The new mechanism, on top of the two major revenue sources of JustLend (formerly JustLend DAO) and USDD, further incorporates revenue from the GasFree business line into the buyback pool; at the same time, it maintains a long-term reserve of no less than US$50 million in treasury funds, and has withdrawn US$20.34 million in existing funds in a single move for subsequent buybacks. This means that the growth and protocol revenue of JUST's three core businesses will feed back more directly and efficiently into JST's long-term intrinsic value.
From this perspective, this upgrade is not a mere brand refresh, but a systematic advancement by JUST along two dimensions: business synergy and value mechanism. The former converges previously fragmented business capabilities through a unified entry point, improves capital efficiency and liquidity, and makes the use of network resources and transactions more convenient; the latter, through more diversified sources of buyback funds, allows business growth to be more fully crystallized into JST's long-term value.
Integrating the three major products JustLend, USDD, and GasFree, JUST upgrades to a unified entry point for a multi-protocol ecosystem
Through this strategic upgrade, JUST integrates the three major products JustLend, USDD, and GasFree under a unified brand and entry point for coordinated development, with JUST DAO comprehensively coordinating governance decisions, ecosystem building, and JST asset management across all business lines, officially upgrading to a unified entry point for a multi-protocol ecosystem.

The newly launched JUST official website systematically presents the core functional modules and real-time key operating metrics of the three major products, while fully disclosing JST token fundamentals, ecosystem empowerment progress, and full-cycle on-chain buyback-and-burn data details, achieving highly transparent public disclosure of ecosystem operating status to the entire market.

The new JUST ecosystem is primarily composed of a product matrix and governance mechanisms. At the product level, JUST relies on the three core products JustLend, USDD, and GasFree to build a service matrix with clear boundaries and complementary synergies, covering core on-chain financial scenarios such as asset lending, staking for yield, network resource acquisition, stablecoin allocation and returns, and transfer transactions, forming a product system that covers the complete service chain. At the governance level, JUST DAO serves as the entity for ecosystem governance and co-building, with the native token JST as the value link, coordinating the in-depth development of all business lines while promoting deeper resource interoperability and functional synergy among products.
In terms of product service capabilities, the JUST ecosystem has its three core products JustLend, USDD, and GasFree each performing their own roles, with each establishing functional modules around their respective businesses, jointly forming the protocol and service foundation of the ecosystem.

1. JustLend: Lending, Staking, and Network Resource Market
JustLend is the asset lending, staking services, and resource scheduling hub of the JUST ecosystem, composed of three major modules: the lending market (SBM), TRX staking (sTRX), and energy services (Energy Rental & Energy Buy). It connects asset suppliers and borrowers through smart contracts, and connects TRX holders and network resource users through staking and energy services.
Lending Market (SBM): Supports asset deposit and collateralized lending services, balancing asset appreciation returns with liquidity turnover needs. Currently, the JustLend lending market SBM adopts a dual-version collaborative evolution of V1 and V2. V1, as the ecosystem's primary lending protocol, adopts a shared liquidity pool and cross-collateralization mechanism, providing deposit and borrowing services for mainstream assets such as TRX, USDT, and USDD; V2, through the innovative introduction of an isolated collateral architecture, can accommodate more diverse asset portfolios and meet customized lending scenario needs.
Staking TRX (sTRX): Supports users in staking TRX in exchange for the yield-bearing certificate sTRX, obtaining staking returns from TRON network nodes while unlocking underlying liquidity to participate in more on-chain DeFi yield scenarios.
Energy Services (Energy Rental & Energy Buy): A network resource solution derived from TRX staking, providing on-chain interaction users with a more convenient, efficient, and cost-effective way to acquire energy resources, helping users reduce Gas costs for on-chain interactions on TRON. Currently, JustLend has established a diversified energy resource service system composed of energy rental and energy direct purchase, covering the energy needs of various on-chain scenarios: energy rental can accommodate planned, long-cycle, large-scale resource needs; energy direct purchase can instantly respond to ultra-short-cycle, pay-as-you-go sporadic or batch on-chain interaction needs.
2. USDD: Stablecoin Protocol
USDD is a decentralized stablecoin built on an over-collateralization mechanism, providing underlying capabilities for stable pricing, settlement, and yield participation in on-chain scenarios. It is both a basic unit of account and a core link connecting various on-chain financial activities, constituting the cornerstone of ecosystem value measurement, cross-scenario settlement, and stable yield participation. Currently, USDD has expanded from TRON to multiple public chain ecosystems including BNB Chain and Ethereum, becoming an important carrier for cross-chain financial activities and liquidity circulation.
USDD's core capabilities mainly include collateralized issuance Vault, stablecoin swap PSM, and user yield Earn, corresponding to stablecoin issuance, swapping, and user yield functions respectively:
Collateralized Issuance Vault: Deposit vault-supported collateral assets (such as TRX, sTRX, WBTC, etc.) to mint USDD.
Stable Swap PSM: A stablecoin swap tool that supports zero-slippage swaps at a fixed 1:1 exchange rate between designated stablecoins (such as USDT) and USDD, and can assist USDD in pegging to US$1 through swaps and liquidity management.
Yield Earn: Provides USDD holders with a channel to participate in yield. Currently, users can deposit USDD on Ethereum and BNB Chain to obtain the yield-bearing certificate sUSDD, accumulating returns through an increasing exchange rate; on TRON, users can also deposit USDD into on-chain DeFi protocols such as JustLend to participate in yield.
3. GasFree: On-Chain Transaction Transfer Solution
GasFree is a "Gas"-free solution for on-chain transaction transfers. Users can directly pay network Gas fees with the transferred token, without needing to hold the native token TRX in advance, thereby eliminating the usage breakpoint in on-chain transfers where "you have assets but can't transfer them out," making the on-chain payment experience closer to the simplicity of traditional financial transfers.
Currently, GasFree supports transfers of the two major mainstream stablecoins USDT and USDD in the TRON ecosystem. When users initiate USDT or USDD transfers, they can directly use the transferred currency to offset fees without needing to prepare TRX separately.
At the integration level, GasFree comes with standardized API tools, a developer center, interface documentation, and a testing environment, supporting wallets and Web3 applications to integrate flexibly and quickly incorporate gas-free transfer capabilities, laying a solid underlying infrastructure for the large-scale adoption of crypto payments.
JUST's three core products can each develop in depth, while also synergizing and interconnecting under a unified framework: JustLend, as the asset lending and resource market, efficiently matches capital supply and financing demand through the lending market (SBM), and relies on TRX staking (Staked TRX) and energy services to undertake staking returns and network resource circulation; USDD, as decentralized stablecoin infrastructure, provides underlying support for value anchoring and stable yield for the ecosystem; GasFree, as an on-chain transfer payment solution, simplifies the fee payment path with its "Gas"-free process, making asset circulation smoother and more frictionless. The three each leverage their strengths while connecting with one another, jointly forming a complete financial service chain covering capital, resources, stablecoins, and transfers.
For this chain to truly form a combined force, unified coordination at the governance level is indispensable. In terms of ecosystem governance and development building, JUST DAO will serve as the entity for governance and co-building of the JUST ecosystem, upgraded and iterated from the former JustLend DAO, uniformly responsible for governance and ecosystem building across all business lines of the JUST brand. Its governance scope covers the three major business lines JustLend, USDD, and GasFree, and it undertakes functions such as JST asset management, buyback-and-burn, ecosystem grants, and decision execution. Specifically, JUST DAO, on the one hand, coordinates the multi-protocol collaborative development, ecosystem resource investment, and community building of the JUST ecosystem; on the other hand, it provides governance guarantees for the long-term stable operation and continuous iteration of the ecosystem. At this point, the three business lines can each perform their own roles and advance in synergy under a unified governance framework.
It is precisely this dual-layer architecture of "product layered complementarity and unified governance coordination" that constitutes the core logic of JUST's upgrade to a unified entry point for a multi-protocol ecosystem—carrying the financial needs within and beyond the TRON ecosystem with a clearer business matrix, a more complete service chain, and a unified governance framework.
This upgrade ultimately lands on a dual enhancement of user experience and asset efficiency: full-chain needs such as financing and yield generation, resource acquisition, asset allocation, stablecoin returns, and transfer circulation can all be completed one-stop within JUST's same entry system. The entry point and governance system connect with each other, so users do not need to leave the ecosystem or cross platforms to find services, and multi-scenario DeFi experiences can be seamlessly linked under a unified framework.
JST Buyback-and-Burn Mechanism Simultaneously Completes a New Upgrade: Adding GasFree Business Revenue, JUST's Three Major Business Revenues Jointly Empower JST Value
Alongside the comprehensive brand upgrade of JUST, JST, as the native governance token of the JUST ecosystem, has also seen its buyback-and-burn mechanism upgraded simultaneously, officially entering a new diversified phase. After the new mechanism launches, the revenues of the three core businesses JustLend, USDD, and GasFree will jointly support JST buyback-and-burn, with JUST DAO as the executing entity to uniformly advance it, enabling the growth of ecosystem businesses to continuously translate into support for JST token value. This is both an important refinement of the JUST DAO governance system and means that JST's value support logic is accelerating its evolution from previously relying on the single business contribution of JustLend toward being driven by multi-business synergy.

This upgrade is built on the foundation of the successful conclusion of the first phase of buyback-and-burn. With the fifth buyback-and-burn implemented on October 16, the remaining 70% of funds planned for buybacks from JustLend's historical accumulated ecosystem revenue has been fully deployed, marking the official conclusion of the first phase. To date, the five buyback-and-burn events have cumulatively burned over 1.881 billion JST, with total burned exceeding 19% of the original supply, and cumulative real buyback funds exceeding US$118 million—this deflationary mechanism driven by real business revenue has completed full closed-loop validation of its first phase within the TRON ecosystem.
On this basis, according to the Announcement on the Upgrade of the JST Buyback-and-Burn Mechanism, the JST buyback-and-burn system has undergone a systematic upgrade, making new arrangements across three dimensions: fund reserves, revenue sources, and deployment pace:
In terms of treasury fund reserves, a long-term reserve of no less than US$50 million will be maintained for risk preparation, redemption under extreme circumstances, and liquidity assurance, providing an underlying safety cushion for the stable operation of the ecosystem.
In terms of funding sources, the new mechanism will add GasFree as a base funding source for buybacks. At this point, the funding sources for JST buyback-and-burn fully cover all JUST business lines, mainly including business revenues such as JustLend's sTRX staking returns and SBM returns, GasFree's existing revenue and new business revenue, and the portion of USDD net revenue exceeding US$10 million.
In terms of existing revenue, funds beyond the reserve line will be used for JST buybacks. Approximately US$20.34 million in existing funds has been withdrawn for subsequent buybacks, mainly from GasFree's historical accumulated revenue and the portion of treasury addresses exceeding the reserve line. This funding will begin in Q4 2026 and be released in four tranches to supplement each period's buybacks.

In addition, the executing entity for JST buyback-and-burn has also changed from the former JustLend DAO to JUST DAO, with the latter coordinating and responsible for the execution of subsequent buyback-and-burn.
In summary, the revenues of JUST's three core businesses will be uniformly collected through JUST DAO and continuously flow into the JST buyback-and-burn fund pool, including JustLend's lending and staking revenue, USDD's stablecoin business net revenue exceeding US$10 million, and GasFree's transfer service revenue. This means that the growth of each business line within the JUST ecosystem no longer settles separately, but through a unified governance and distribution mechanism continuously translates into support for JST token value, forming a comprehensive feedback loop from the ecosystem to JST—the stronger the business foundation, the more solid the funding source for buyback-and-burn, and the more sustainable the token value support.
More critically, as a new funding source, the GasFree business is in a high-speed growth channel, and its revenue will become another important funding source support in the JST buyback-and-burn mechanism after JustLend. According to the announcement, since its launch in March 2025, GasFree revenue has continued to grow, with cumulative historical existing revenue of approximately US$12.027 million as of Q3 2026; and the approximately US$20.34 million in existing funds withdrawn in this upgrade also mainly comes from GasFree's historical accumulated revenue and the portion of treasury addresses exceeding the reserve line. Starting from Q4 2026, GasFree will formally be included in the JST buyback plan. This means that GasFree's business profitability has been publicly verified by data, and in the future it can sustainably expand the funding base for JST buyback-and-burn, growing into another strong growth engine after JustLend.
As the three business lines of the JUST ecosystem continue to develop and the revenue structure continues to enrich, the JST buyback-and-burn mechanism is expected to operate smoothly over a longer cycle, continuously driving JST supply contraction and value support, and building clear, stable long-term value expectations for ecosystem participants.
From Entry Unification to Value Mechanism Upgrade: JUST Enters a New Stage of Multi-Protocol Development Through Synergistic Upgrade
With the comprehensive brand refresh and the new buyback-and-burn mechanism officially implemented, JUST has completed a systematic evolution from product integration and governance coordination to value mechanism. The unified brand entry point moves the three businesses from fragmentation toward synergy; the unified governance of JUST DAO gives cross-business-line decisions a clear subject; and the new buyback-and-burn mechanism makes the transmission path from JUST ecosystem business growth to JST value clearer.
