1. Product Features and Future Roadmap

Q (Brother Bean): As a long-time user of IBKR (Interactive Brokers) and Futu/Tiger Brokers, traditional brokers offer very comprehensive fundamental analysis tools, options data, earnings calendars, and AI-powered quick order features. After using Bitget, I find these research and analysis tools relatively lacking. Is there a clear optimization roadmap planned?

Thomas: Traditional brokers have been around for over a decade or even decades, with very mature features. Our U.S. stock product has been live for less than two weeks. The stock business is currently an absolute strategic priority product direction for Bitget, and we will relentlessly invest resources.

Over the next 1 to 2 years, we will continuously strengthen the competitiveness of our U.S. stock products. Our long-term goal is to build an All-in-One platform, allowing users to complete the entire "research-to-trade" cycle within Bitget.

Jiayin: Traditional brokers have operated within mature market mechanisms for years, building stable trading systems and user trust. In contrast, Bitget grew out of intense competition in the crypto market, bringing more efficient trading technology, more flexible product design, and a stronger sense of user service to the U.S. stock trading scene.

I can confidently say that current Bitget U.S. stock spot trading is highly competitive compared to other exchanges in the same track, in terms of liquidity depth, execution efficiency, and smoothness of the trading experience.

2. Dividend Distribution, Stock Splits/Reverse Splits, and Tax Handling

Q (Brother Bean): Under Bitget's U.S. stock mechanism, how do dividend rights, distribution timing, and tax treatment differ from traditional brokers? What is the specific calculation mechanism?

Thomas: From the start of the design phase, we strived for a solution that is completely identical to actual U.S. stocks.

• Regarding Tax Withholding: Due to the platform's general nature, it's currently not possible to enjoy the 20% reduced tax rate by submitting W-8BEN forms as with IBKR. Currently, dividend tax will be uniformly deducted at the 30% standard U.S. stock rate.
• Regarding Capital Gains Tax (Income Tax): Since Bitget uses a tokenized rToken model, no capital gains tax is involved.
• Regarding Distribution Timing: The distribution schedule is consistent with traditional brokers.
• Regarding Token Withdrawal: As it's a tokenized product, even if users withdraw their U.S. stock tokens to their own on-chain wallet, they will still receive interest airdrops. If a U.S. stock undergoes a split or reverse split, it will be proportionally reflected in the token quantity in the user's wallet.

3. Underlying Mechanism, Slippage, and Listing Efficiency

Q (Brother Bean & Luge): Bitget follows the asset tokenization (r-Token) path, adding a layer of token conversion. Compared to other solutions that directly connect to brokers, does this lead to price slippage, spreads, or lower listing efficiency?

Thomas: This is the most concerning issue for everyone. Last year, we integrated a third-party Ondo solution, which did have some limitations in practice, such as a maximum single transaction amount of $200,000 and insufficient execution speed. Based on these user feedback and product experience issues, we started advancing the RWA protocol Reality from the end of last December, aiming to improve the trading efficiency, asset transparency, and user experience of tokenized U.S. stocks from the underlying architecture.

Currently, the prices and depth displayed on our platform are completely real U.S. stock data. The underlying orders are penetrated and sent directly to the order books of NASDAQ and NYSE. Therefore, in terms of price slippage and execution efficiency, there is no difference between us and Futu/Tiger Brokers. Even during non-market hours (pre-market, after-hours, overnight), we can switch order modes for users, supporting quick market orders.

Jiayin: We conducted rigorous live market testing. The purchase price on Bitget was exactly the same as on Futu, with zero price difference. Execution speed is millisecond-level. Whether placing limit orders or taking market orders, the experience is extremely smooth, handling large buy/sell orders with ease.

Regarding Listing Speed: The U.S. stock listing process is more rigorous. In just over a week, we have listed two to three hundred stocks. We will maintain a high listing speed in the future and commit to listing 500 mainstream U.S. stocks within the next 7 days. This goal is not merely about chasing quantity; it's based on the platform's trading data. With sufficiently accurate target selection, 500 popular stocks can cover approximately 98% of trading volume demand.

4. Extreme Market Stability and Asset Security

Q (Haida & Luge): In the event of extreme black swan events with sharp daily rises or falls, can Bitget guarantee smooth operation without lag or order freezing? What if the issuer of the tokenized U.S. stock assets, Reality, defaults or shuts down? Who is responsible for user assets?

Thomas: Regarding extreme market conditions, we are continuously optimizing the trading chain. In the future, we will connect to Wall Street's high-frequency trading "direct lines". By then, our trading performance, throughput, and speed will reach world-leading levels, allowing ordinary users to enjoy the same smooth experience as large brokers and quantitative hedge funds.

Jiayin: Regarding the risk of default, users absolutely do not need to worry:

1. Reality is a product developed in-house by the Bitget team, with deep-level collaboration with the licensed broker Alpaca at its core.

5. True Peg and Third-Party Audits

Q: How can users verify that the underlying assets for their purchased U.S. stock tokens are real? How is the 1:1 peg proven?

Thomas: We have engaged a licensed third-party professional accounting and auditing firm in the U.S. (The Network Firm) to conduct round-the-clock, 24/7 monitoring and auditing of our stocks and on-chain tokens.

We disclose our securities and fund accounts held with the partner broker to the auditing firm. They can directly read our underlying stock quantities and simultaneously compare this with the public information of the on-chain token smart contracts. They issue corresponding real-time audit reports daily and monthly for public disclosure. If any deficiency in the asset ratio below 100% is detected, it will be immediately made public.

6. Community Content, Investor Education, and Operational Strategy

Q (Frank): U.S. stocks differ from cryptocurrencies as they have a highly multi-dimensional structure of data, sectors, and thematic concepts. Brokers like Futu and Tiger place great emphasis on building in-platform content ecosystems. They support and stimulate user trading decisions by nurturing quality traders to write analyses and create visual sector chart content. What are Bitget's plans for content operations and investor education?

Thomas: Content and timeliness are crucial for U.S. stock trading. Over the past month or so, we have been intensively negotiating and contracting with several major U.S. stock information and data providers. Features like earnings reports, in-depth analysis, and news will be gradually iterated and launched with product updates, benchmarking against traditional brokers.

Jiayin: When developing our U.S. stock offering, we found that many U.S. stock users are crypto "newbies," some even needing step-by-step guidance on binding Google Authenticator. Therefore, investor education is our top priority.
