Pi Network announced a major update to Pi App Studio, which improves application creation, customizability, and ecosystem integration. This update not only improves creator and user experience, but also expands AI-assisted creation capabilities and strengthens the connection between creators and the Pi community.

Core function upgrade

Pi App Studio is now directly integrated into the top navigation bar of the Pi Desktop app, displaying it alongside the Pi Mining app and nodes, providing users with more convenient access. In terms of AI-assisted features, creators can now use AI to generate unique logos for chatbots and custom apps, as well as create AI-generated welcome messages for chatbots. The platform also supports AI-assisted editing, allowing creators to continuously optimize their work throughout the creation process.

Community discovery and staking mechanism

A new application discovery interface allows Pi users to explore, vote, and stake Pi tokens for community applications. These showcased applications also provide reference examples for creators, helping them understand the types of applications popular in the ecosystem. In addition, creators can now assign category tags to their applications, which will be displayed in the Pi Explorer ecosystem interface, making it easier for users to browse and discover related applications.

User experience optimization

The platform has optimized the chatbot UI format to improve readability and added a demo video to the homepage to provide intuitive onboarding guidance for new creators. These improvements together strengthen the core role of Pi App Studio as a scalable application creation environment, supporting the practicality and innovative development of the Pi ecosystem.
