Mocaverse and OneFootball Enter Strategic Partnership to Launch Football ID to 200 Million Football Fans
Mocaverse, the consumer network with interoperable infrastructure for accounts, identities, reputation, and PointFi systems built by Animoca Brands, today announced a strategic partnership with OneFootball, a football platform with over 200 million fans. OneFootball will rely on Mocaverse’s Realm Network interoperable SDK to launch Football ID, a football domain DID and reputation layer, to bring global football fans to Web3.
OneFootball and Mocaverse are committed to improving the football fan experience and retention through Football ID. More than 200 million monthly active users of the OneFootball network and applications will have the opportunity to claim their unique Football ID on-chain. Football ID will serve as a digital passport for fans, recording, reflecting and rewarding fan participation, and will be able to demonstrate their fan identity and loyalty through this system regardless of which team they support.
Mocaverse will serve as a key ecosystem partner and use its Realm Network's interoperable infrastructure SDK to launch Football ID. Football ID will share the same login system with other Realm IDs such as Moca ID and Anime ID. At the same time, Football ID will allow the football fan community to customize and claim a unique DID built in the form of name.football in the OneFootball application.
With OneFootball joining the Moca Network, Football ID users will be able to access a variety of rewards and experiences, supported by more than 400 companies in the Animoca Brands ecosystem and Mocaverse contracted partners, including GameFi, IP, sports, music and more. Fans who receive Football ID will be able to participate in various Web3 activities while earning Realm Points on the Mocaverse Realm Network.
