除了10倍涨幅项目ittybits,ORDEX上还有哪些项目值得关注?
When it comes to ether inscription, everyone is familiar with ether inscription tokens such as ETHS and FACET. Compared with the popularity of Bitcoin’s “small pictures”, the “small pictures” of Ether Inscription are actually quite neglected.
In recent times, the performance of EVM chain inscriptions can be said to be quite poor, and the liquidity of many EVM chain inscriptions is close to zero. But in such a market environment, I found that an NFT project with 10 times the income appeared on the Ether Inscription market called ORDEX. Although this market also provides transactions for Ethereum Inscription Tokens such as ETHS and FACET, the liquidity of Tokens is average and they are mainly concerned because of the small pictures.
At first glance, you may be surprised - arent these all fake disks? It’s almost the same as the initial stage of Bitcoin NFT last year. What’s the point?

But in fact, behind the popular projects on this platform are relatively complete creation stories, which are quite small but beautiful. Affordable prices, large quantities, and a creative story with Fully on-chain as one of the core narratives are the common characteristics of star projects on the ORDEX platform.
ittybits
This is the “10x growth project” we mentioned in the title of the article. The total number of ittybits is 10,000, which was issued on January 6. The Mint price is 0.007/0.009 ETH. Currently, the floor price of ittybits is 0.0795 ETH, which is still 10 times the sale price, and the total transaction volume has exceeded US$1.66 million. The highest floor price of ittybits reached 0.12 ETH, and even now it is still higher than the first NFT series Ethereum Punks on Ethereum Inscription, and is currently the well-deserved number one star on ORDEX.

ittybits
Creator of ittybits@posvarIs the holder of CryptoPunks #7741. This buddy has spent a lot of effort on CryptoPunks related research and analysis since he owned CryptoPunks #7741 in 2021. He was inspired by 8 x 8 (a CryptoPunks derivative composed of 64 pixels) and thought that although 8 x 8 was cute, there was no way to artistically recreate all 10,000 CryptoPunks. Seeking a balance between CryptoPunks pixel compression and overall aesthetic, he ultimately chose 12 x 12 pixels to create the new CryptoPunks art.
There are many details to deal with in fully retaining the elements of CryptoPunks in a very limited pixel space, which reflects @posvars ingenuity and in-depth understanding of CryptoPunks. For example, the gender distinction of CryptoPunks is based on body shape. Male Punks are 1 pixel wider and 2 pixels taller than female Punks, but 12 x 12 does not have enough space to distinguish the gender of Punks according to this idea. , so in ittybits, the one with 3 pixels on the mouth is male, and the one with 1 pixel is female. For another example, CryptoPunks smile/sorrow expression actually adds 1 pixel to the upper left/lower left of the 3 pixel mouth, but 12 x 12 does not have enough space to distinguish Punks expression according to this idea, so The smiling expression uses a highlighted pixel in the middle of the mouth to express a toothed smile, while the bitter face removes one pixel to convey a lip curling feeling.

In addition to the 12 x 12 pixel-compressed artistic representation of the original CryptoPunks, each ittybits ID number also matches the last four digits of its SHA-256 file hash.

@posvar calls it Hash Matching ID, enriching ittybits artistic narrative from a cryptographic perspective. SHA-256 is a one-way conversion of data into a different 64-character string, making even the smallest change to an image radically and unpredictably alter the result of the hash output. Every time the pixel composition of an ittybits is slightly changed, the ittybits must be mined an average of 65,000 times to achieve a hash matching ID. In order to achieve hash matching ID for each ittybits in the 10 K series, @posvar actually generated 648 million ittybits.
The official website of ittybits also reflects @posvar’s intentions. You can overview the entire series in a variety of ways. For example, I chose the “building block” mode:

Coupled with its Fully on-chain narrative as an inscription, ittybits quickly gained a lot of attention in the English circle. For example, I won the Shadow Hats auction with 2.5 BTC.@HollanderAdamI bought a batch of ittybits.

Jack Butcher also retweeted an ittybits-related tweet.
Ethereum Punks
The first NFT series on Ether Inscription, the inscription number is in the range of 11-10115. There is nothing easy to say about this. It is the same as the historical value narrative of Bitcoins Sub 1 K, and it is not a project issued through the ORDEX Launchpad. But since we are talking about Ether Inscription NFT, this project must be mentioned after all.
The transaction volume of Ethereum Punks on ORDEX has exceeded 1 million US dollars, and the current floor price is 0.079 ETH. Four days ago, Ethereum Punks #3100 with Alien features set a record for the highest single sale amount in the series, transacted at a price of 8.24 ETH ($20,754).

mfpurrs
At first glance, this project will look like an imitation of mfers:

Founder@VirtualAlaska_Frankly speaking, they did it because ether inscriptions are cool, and they drew inspiration from different NFT series and wanted to create a cat series, so they did it. The difference between a glance at a replica and an artistic re-creation is not only reflected through the mfpurrs characteristics, but they also gain support from the artists they ask to pay tribute to.
For example, Chris Torres (@PRguitarman), the creator of Nyan Cat, talked about mfpurrs in the official Discord channel of Ether Inscription. @VirtualAlaska_ then asked if he would also create some art for mfpurrs, so here is the 1/1 mfpurrs exclusive to Chris Torres.
Not only that, Chris Torres also customized the Rainbow Chaos glasses feature shown below for mfpurrs, as well as multiple background features including a rainbow background.

Sartoshi, the founder of mfers, also expressed his affirmation of mfpurrs under @VirtualAlaska_s tweet:
However, mfpurrs is not a project of ORDEX Launchpad. The project formed the final complete 10K collection in August last year.
EBURP
This thing costs 0.29 ETH? This may be your first reaction when you see the picture below:

Although EBURP is not a project released by Larva Labs, the origin of this project is Larva Labs. Before Larva Labs released CryptoPunks, they launched an 8-bit RPG game called GURK on Nokia mobile phones in 2004.

「GURK」
2013, Co-Founder of Larva Labs@pents 90 Some of the art works in the GURK game are open sourced through the EBURP engine. Although there are a total of 216 unique game characters in the GURK game, only 92 game characters (including heroes, enemies, and NPCs) in the EBURP Github library are open source.

92 open source GURK game characters
Open source is a generous ideology and the initial form of the decentralized spirit that Larva Labs later embraced when entering the decentralized world. In addition to bringing all 216 game characters to Ethereum in the form of Ether Inscriptions to pay tribute to Larva Labs infancy, the team behind EBURP also burned 124 unopened game characters, leaving only 92 open source ones. Game characters show respect for the creators intentions.

After ittybits attracted a lot of attention to ORDEX, EBURP also rose accordingly, with the highest floor price exceeding 0.7 ETH.
ORDEX OG PASS
Finally, there is currently the only utility NFT project on ORDEX, and it is also the first project of ORDEX Launchpad, their own OG PASS.
The benefits of OG PASS include 50% transaction fee reduction, whitelisting of all Launchpad projects, and access to API interfaces. Since Launchpad released the star project ittybits, OG PASS once soared to 0.75 ETH, but now it has fallen back to 0.47 ETH.

Conclusion
The ORDEX Launchpad project has performed poorly in the past two phases. Players originally had high expectations for Nakamingos, but the release was delayed for a long time due to technical problems. It is a pity that it could not continue the momentum of ittybits. Then there was another project that was relatively average both in terms of the artist’s background and the narrative. It is not easy for Launchpad’s projects to always maintain high quality.
But I am still optimistic about the future of ORDEX, or it can be said that the future of the small pictures of Ether Inscriptions remains optimistic. The reason is actually very simple:
- Forming differentiated competition with mature standards. It is extremely difficult for traditional NFTs on the Ethereum main network to succeed in the current market environment. Recently, most of the assets that can achieve wealth effects are chain game assets (especially the projects with low volume + Free Mint on Xterio Launchpad). However, it is almost impossible for ordinary players to get these assets on the whitelist, which will give Ether Inscription opportunities for large-scale, fair and affordable small but beautiful projects.
- Engaging artistic narrative. These creators on Ethereum are not simply copying projects, nor are they just re-creating along the lines of the original works of art. They are really able to tell stories and package them, paying tribute to the creators who inspired them while achieving re-creation. . This actually also releases one of the advantages of Ether Inscription over Bitcoin in small pictures - a group of excellent art creators have been accumulated here, and these creators have accumulated a large number of excellent works and work creation stories, allowing re-creation The material library is extremely rich.
- ORDEX has launched some projects with wealth effects.Especially after 10x ittybits, more and more ETH NFT players are paying attention to this market that was launched last year. With the development of ether inscription small pictures, ORDEX is expected to continue to develop by leveraging its first-mover advantage.
As for whether the Ethernet ecosystem will follow the technological arms race of Bitcoin in the future, and whether ORDEX can continue to provide support for the evolution of technology, only time will give us the answer.
