Karrier One宣布与Sui合作,即将推出代币DeWi并引入DePIN技术

Sui and Karrier One announce a strategic partnership integrating advanced telecommunications services with the dynamic capabilities of Web3 technology.

The partnership centers on Sui’s investment in Karrier One to fund its expansion of decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) technology. This collaboration marks a further step in decentralized technology to enhance access to the digital world and help services connect regions with each other.

Technology integration of this new partnership will include the DePIN service powered by the Sui blockchain and the launch of the Karrier One decentralized wireless (DeWi) network token on Sui. Additionally, contributors and participants in the Karrier One ecosystem will be able to earn DeWi tokens through various activities such as deploying radios and mobile devices involving Karrier One phone numbers.

The launch not only introduces a multi-purpose governance token, but also expands the Karrier ecosystem with fungible tokens and NFTs, providing a wide variety of utility tools. For example, as part of the Karrier One implementation, universal phone numbers will be sold by Karrier One on the network and encrypted using the Karrier Number System (KNS), which emphasizes autonomous digital identity, protecting user data and enhancing digital security.

A key feature of KNS will be the integration of zkLogin, a Sui base primitive that enables Web3 authentication on Sui by using familiar Web2 credentials. For example, with zkLogin, users can log in using Google or Facebook, generating a self-hosted wallet secured by zero-knowledge proofs. By combining KNS with zkLogin on Sui, the partnership enables end users to use their phone numbers to transact in Web3 without having to manage a crypto-native wallet. All Karrier One phone numbers will come with these integrations as a default option on their phone plans. Users can also port their numbers from other carriers, allowing them to benefit from KNS and zkLogin. For the first time, users will be able to specify an address on the network using a phone number and send and receive digital assets securely and privately via text message, without the need to set up a wallet.

Karrier One, a leader in DePIN technology, will use the new investment from Sui to enhance its services, including broadcast deployments, innovative mobile phone plans and a variety of new services with KNS, providing critical infrastructure to untapped areas. A key aspect is that Karrier One will make full use of its advanced radio technology, accessing unused wireless spectrum from large telecommunications companies. These companies are often reluctant to build infrastructure in certain places in the U.S. and elsewhere because they are unwilling to pay expensive capital expenditures. The result is that a large amount of spectrum is wasted inefficiently. Karrier One is filling this gap by leveraging these signals efficiently and effectively to drive sustainable economic growth and inclusive connectivity.

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Sui Foundation, said Samer Bishay, CEO of Karrier One. This partnership is an important step in our efforts to expand our reach and impact in the telecommunications space. Our goal has always been to ensure that connectivity is universal Accessible, affordable, and sustainable. Sui’s parallel transactions, efficient on-chain data storage capabilities, and superior processing power are a perfect fit for our mission. Sui has proven that it can remain low and sustainable even when the network is used at scale. Predicted gas fees ensure our users can take full advantage of our technology, with millions of daily hashed transactions expected to occur on-chain, despite the massive demand for data storage.

Greg Siourounis, Managing Director of Sui Foundation, said: “Our partnership with Karrier One demonstrates our commitment to leveraging decentralized technology to build a more inclusive and connected future. What’s more, our partnership combines two Superior technology, driving the development of decentralized telecommunications. By developing the DePIN network on Sui, Karrier One is leveraging network scalability, security and efficiency that existing platforms cannot match, pushing us towards a technology that can become The future of catalysts for positive change.”

The partnership also represents both teams’ shared commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), focusing on quality education, industry, innovation and infrastructure, and sustainable cities and communities. In particular, Karrier Ones participation at COP28 in Dubai at the end of 2023 demonstrates opportunities to align its innovative solutions and strategies with global sustainability efforts. The appearance not only highlights Karrier One’s commitment to sustainable practices, but also highlights its growing influence in the UAE and on the global stage.

The collaboration between Karrier One and Sui reflects their unified vision of leveraging decentralized technology for social and environmental improvement. The collaboration is expected to accelerate the deployment of DeWi solutions and make an important contribution to achieving a sustainable, inclusive and connected future globally.
