The out-of-print cursed inscription lies in the Ordinals Jubilee upgrade. Ordinals founder Casey once announced that the Jubilee upgrade will be carried out at block height 824544. After the Jubilee, all inscriptions will be blessed, meaning that using features such as batch inscriptions will no longer result in cursed inscriptions. But the Cursed Glyph before the Jubilee upgrade needle still exists, which is why the community has FOMO about the Cursed Glyph.
According to news on social media, the last text curse inscription is INSCRIPTION-472, 043, which records the yin-yang inscription Mickey Mouse; the last picture curse inscription is INSCRIPTION-472, 040, the cursed goose on Pizza Cong.
Before the arrival of block height 824544, the Cursed Inscription projects that were currently being minted were all busy casting inscriptions, vying to be the last Cursed Inscription, which once caused the prices of most Cursed Inscriptions to rise, such as OrdiRocks, OrdiMouse and Goosinals. In particular, the floor prices of OrdiMouse and Goosinals, which were minted as the last cursed inscription, have increased to a certain extent.
The out-of-print Curse Inscription may mean a new starting point for the Bitcoin ecosystem. UniSat issued a statement stating that it will follow the Ordinals Jubilee upgrade to ensure that BRC-20 is still operating on Ordinals and not split into separate protocols.
