After the successful transition of the Goerli testnet, the Ethereum Shanghai (Shapella) upgrade is finally approaching.

Recently, the Ethereum Foundation officially confirmed the upgrade time of Ethereum Shanghai. The main network will activate the Shapella network upgrade at epoch 194048, which is expected to be carried out at 06:27:35 on April 13, Beijing time.

The Shanghai upgrade is the first major upgrade of the Ethereum network after "The Merge", marking the completion of Ethereum's full transition to a proof-of-stake (PoS) network. One of the main goals of this upgrade is to make the Ethereum (ETH) pledged in the Ethereum Beacon Chain (Beacon Chain) smart contract open for withdrawal.

In order to welcome the upgrade of Ethereum Shanghai, Huobi has specially planned a series of feedback activities (for details, please refer to: https://www.huobi.com/zh-cn/staking/eth 2/), inviting users to participate in the prosperous ecology of ETH.

Huobi’s official announcement shows that from 20:00 on April 1st to 20:00 on April 30th, Beijing time, users who participate in the ETH 2.0 pledge activity launched by Huobi platform can enjoy up to 15% annualized income. That is to say, when the user's new pledge amount is not less than 1 ETH, he can enjoy up to 30 days of on-chain pledge income with an annualized rate of about 5%, and at the same time, he can get an additional 10% APY subsidy from the Huobi platform.

In addition, during the period from 20:00 on April 1st to 20:00 on April 12th, Beijing time, when users newly pledge not less than 1 ETH, they can share 50,000 USDT pledge rewards according to the pledged amount. Among them, the top three users with new pledge amount can get rewards of 7,000 USDT, 4,000 USDT, and 2,000 USDT respectively; users ranked 4-10 can get rewards of 1,000 USDT respectively.
