Lately, Polygon's NFT ecosystem has been booming. With the downfall of Terra and FTX, many projects have migrated to Polygon. Additionally, Polygon has gradually become the go-to destination for NFTs from Web2 companies.

In this article, we'll explore Polygon's NFT ecosystem, broken down into six categories:

Web2 Company
Starbucks is leveraging NFTs on the Polygon Network to deliver Web3 experiences. Users can earn NFTs by completing various tasks such as quizzes, mini-games, and even buying and drinking coffee in real life.

Postmark NFTs can be traded on Starbucks' own marketplace. In order to improve user experience, the market provides entry services and designed a backend to process Gas fees. Users can use it without needing to understand the blockchain.

Nike has shown a lot of interest in Web3, including the acquisition of RTFKT. Recently, Nike launched a Web3 platform called DotSwoosh. This is a space for Nike digital items. Creators are expected to earn royalties through DotSwoosh.

Like Starbucks, .swoosh is designed to be easy to use for users without blockchain knowledge. You can see that a large number of users have already minted .swoosh addresses.

Reddit, one of the world's largest communities, launched an NFT collection of avatars on the Polygon network. It allows whitelisted creators to design avatars and sell them as NFTs.

Opensea has amassed 3 million users so far, but Reddit has amassed more than 6 million holders in just six months. Of course, these resulting wallets are not often active on the Polygon network. But Reddit has effectively lured many users into the blockchain ecosystem.

PFP
CyberKongz VX is one of the CyberKongz series, one of the early popular Ethereum NFTs. This is a project to recreate an existing PFP in 3D, available in the SandboxGame metaverse.

HellCatsNFT has migrated from Terra and has the highest trading volume on the OnePlanet NFT marketplace. They focus on utility by offering a staking service where users can use their points to buy various products or participate in large sweepstakes.

y 00 tNFT is a PFP project from dustlabs, known for building Degods. With the support of strong community leader Kevin, y 00 ts is expected to work with large corporations already plugged into Polygon.

game
TheSandboxGame is a metaverse game that allows creators to generate revenue by creating voxel-based maps and items. Originally based on Ethereum, the project has migrated to the highly scalable Polygon network in order to improve user experience.

DerbyStars is a horse racing + metaverse game that has been migrated from Terra. They've partnered with the OnePlanet marketplace to offer free minting for random boxes. They recently released an early access version!

And Phantom, a Web3 game developed by a subsidiary of Animoca, which has extremely high graphics and gameplay compared to existing P2E.
utility
LensProtocol is a Polygon-based Web3 decentralized social protocol. The user's personal data exists in the form of NFT, which supports transactions in the market.

Meme
CollectTrump is a Trump-themed card NFT originally intended to be a utility NFT with rewards. However, it has now become a sought-after meme NFT in the Polygon ecosystem, and its price is still surging even after the bounty campaign ends.

market
OpenSea is a representative market on Ethereum and supports multiple chains. It is currently the most traded on Polygon. Popular items with high transaction volume include: Trump cards, The Sandbox, and MocaVerse.

And OnePlanet is Polygon's native marketplace. Migrated from the Terra network, the market has successfully launched 48 NFT projects.
OnePlanet selects projects through careful screening. Additionally, they launched their own launch platform. More recently, they've backed DerbyStars' random blind box and casting of Hellcat.
