Recently, Kusama ushered in the 50th parachain slot auction. For a previously set relay chain that may support 100, the schedule has passed halfway. Although there are old projects that continue to auction new parachains, Kusama also There are new projects emerging one after another, which can break some rumors that Polkadot has no new projects.
On the other hand, Polkadot also completed its 22nd slot auction. Some of the recent projects that have won Polkadot slots are not all projects that have participated in the Kusama slot auction before, and there are some new faces among them.。
As mentioned in our previous article explaining the slot auction, some teams may choose to deploy on both Kusama and Polkadot, but some teams may choose to deploy only on Kusama or only on Polkadot. In the end, Kusama and Polkadot will develop different ecologies.
