The first is the situation of Polkadot and Kusama slot Auction. On July 31, the 23rd parachain slot auction of Polkadot network ended, and the most scalable public blockchain solution Integritee Shell won this auction. The next auction will open on the afternoon of August 5th; currently Basilisk, GM Parachain, and Altair are leading Kusama's 46th slot auction.
In August 2021, the Web3 Foundation Funding Program reached the milestone of 300 projects, a year later,The current Web3 Foundation has funded more than 400 projects。
Since the launch of the funding plan in 2018, it has gone through 5 years. During this process, the funding plan is also constantly updated and iterated, such as integrating the original general and open funding plans; or formally setting up kUSD One of the currencies in which grants are paid.

The established technology company UseTech built a blockchain on Polkadot.

Parallel Heiko wins Kusama's 45th slot Auction for the renewal of the previous slot.
Kusama's 46th Slot Auction will end around 6:00 am on August 1st. Currently Basilisk leads 30% of blocks, GM Parachain leads 15% of blocks, and Altair leads 3.3% of blocks.
The Kusama216 referendum was passed, which aims to upgrade the Kusama relay chain to Runtime v9260.
