How to claim $APE and how much you can get as an APE holder

There is no difference between different types of MAYC for claiming airdrops.
The IDs of Ape (ape) + Kennel (dog) do not need to match. At the same time, the ape + dog combination with the original pair will not get additional tokens.
Claims are one-time. Claiming will identify all eligible NFTs in the wallet. If an eligible NFT exists in the wallet, it cannot be deselected. If you want to only claim based on individual NFTs, you need to move the NFTs that you don't want to claim $APE to other wallets.
MAYC or MAYC that have already claimed tokens cannot be used later to claim BAKC tokens. All ape + dog combinations that want to be paired must apply together at the same time.
Unused BAYC serum is not eligible.

What the $APE price might be and how big is the airdrop
It is difficult to value $APE on its own terms. It is not a stake in Yuga Labs or Bored Ape Yacht Cub and therefore has no future cash flow. Still, we can make some rough comparisons. For example, Decentraland ($MANA) has a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $5.5 billion and Sandbox ($SAND) is $9.7 billion. Under a conservative estimate, $APE may reach $5 billion FDV, then $APE will be worth $5. The math here is simple. I've also included more similar project valuations in the chart below for reference.
At a floor price of 107 ETH, the total value of just 10,000 boring apes is as high as about $3 billion. However, it must be pointed out again that owning $APE does not mean owning Yuga Labs or any boring apes, nor does it mean that you will share revenue with them.
Only 27.75% of $APE will be unlocked at launch (dedicated chapter on tokenomics later). $APE is so hot that it will be listed on all major exchanges at launch, including Coinbase, FTX, eToro, Kraken, OKX, Gemini, Binance, and Binance US. I wouldn't be too surprised if $APE breaks above $25.
I calculated the size of the $APE airdrop for four scenarios, including very conservative ($APE worth $1), conservative ($APE worth $5), optimistic ($APE worth $10), very optimistic ($APE worth $25 ). I've also included the current prices for BAYC and MAYC in the table. There are still a few hours until the application starts.

Tokenomics
The total supply of $APE is 1 billion. At the same time, there will be no additional minting or burning of $APE. That is, the total supply can never increase or decrease.
The distribution of the 1 billion tokens is as follows, 15% to BAYC and MAYC holders, 47% to ApeCoin DAO, 15% to Yuga Labs, 1% to a charitable foundation, 14% to partners, 8% goes to the four founders of BAYC. epilogue
The performance of $APE is very important for the future of NFT, especially Yuga Labs also acquired CryptoPunks and Meebits last Friday. However, Yuga Labs did not mention whether CryptoPunks or Meebits will play any role in the APE ecosystem. It looks like CryptoPunks and Meebits will still stand alone as historic series.
