BUIDL NFT LOOT BOX HACKATHON officially launched! Enable Programmable Incentives! Participate to get Dora rewards

The BUIDL NFT feature is a funding method for open source developers on the Hackerlink platform. Every BUIDL uploaded to Hackerlink can be minted into an NFT; after the BUIDL NFT is generated, it can be continuously traded, and the highest bidder can buy it at any time, and the trader can trade if the bid is higher than the current price. Each transaction will bring corresponding benefits to BUIDL NFT creators, so that they can continue to receive funding.

As a supporter of BUIDL, traders can obtain price difference benefits from transactions. In addition, you can also get the benefits customized by BUIDL NFT creators with codes - the function of using codes to customize more benefits for BUIDL NFT traders and supporters is the Loot box. Loot Box is a smart contract that contains any programmable behavior after a BUIDL NFT is successfully traded.

Founders can use different and rich Loot Box designs of transaction time, transaction amount, and holding time of NFT to realize programmable incentives.

Use cases of Loot Box include but are not limited to: airdrop, whitelisting, token swap, NFT reward, on-chain registration. Any programmable stimulus can be realized through Loot Box, so the usage scenarios of Loot Box are unlimited.

Loot Box code submission starts: November 20, 2021

Loot Box code submission deadline: January 10, 2022

BUIDL NFT Promotion Stage: December 10, 2021-January 10, 2022

Review period: January 5th - January 15th, 2021

How to sign up:

1. After the development of Lootbox is completed, please submit the associated BUIDL to this hackathon pagehttps://hackerlink.io/hackathon/11 

2. And submit your Loot Box code in the form of Pull Request in the github of this hackathon to: https://github.com/dorahacksglobal/BUIDL-NFT/tree/main/community/lootbox_hackathon

3. Bind the Loot Box contract with the BUIDL NFT (setLootBox(uint256, address), see the specific binding method https://github.com/dorahacksglobal/BUIDL-NFT/"specification"). After the binding is successful, each corresponding BUIDL NFT transaction will evoke the Loot Box, and the distribution of benefits to buyers will be realized through the defined Loot Box behavior.

Participation benefits:

1. 200U BUIDL NFT casting fee: Any team that develops a Loot box and whose code PR is merged can get 200U BUIDL NFT casting fee support.

2. 500 DORA Hackathon Prize Pool: The judges vote to determine the allocation of 500 DORA

3. BUIDL NFT publicity: Dora will increase Loot BOX BUIDL NFT publicity in the community to increase project exposure and attract more Dora community partners to join BUIDL NFT transactions.

Note: 500 DORA distribution rules:

This hackathon will consist of LootBox designers, Builders, operations leaders and NFT followers to form a jury of N members. Each judge will have 5 votes for the projects they are interested in. That is, each ticket is worth 500/N/5. Every time a project gets a vote, it will receive a DORA bonus accordingly. Well-designed Loot Box will help you get more votes.

Here are some design references for LootBox:

1. The same amount of airdrops will be given to those who participate in BUIDL NFT transactions

2. Different amounts of airdrops will be given to participants in BUIDL NFT traders according to the transaction price

3. At a specified time point, such as December 24, 2021, the address of the holder of BUIDL NFT can have a 1000U seed investment quota

4. All traders who bid more than 100DORA open the whitelist

5. Give NFT artwork gifts to all traders

6. Distribute NFT artwork to those who hold BUIDL NFT at a specific point in time, such as 24:00 on December 24, 2021

7. Give certain incentives to those who hold BUILD NFT for more than 30 days
