Odaily: What is the idea and original intention of constructing "the shore and the other shore of art"?
MetaEstate：The emergence and popularity of NFT has promoted the rapid development of young digital art, and has embarked on a development path that is completely different from traditional art. In terms of the essence of art, there is no antagonistic relationship between traditional art and digital art, and there is no contradiction between subversion and deconstruction. This time, METAESTATE was invited to design and build METACHI's "This Shore and the Other Shore of Art" pavilion, which is very in line with expectations. We built this pavilion in the hope of building a bridge to bring traditional art on this shore and digital art on the other shore closer.
Secondly, "this side and the other side of art" also symbolizes the coexistence and intercommunication between the real world and the virtual world. As human beings' understanding and yearning for beauty, art can exist across any gap.
Odaily: Can you briefly introduce the exhibits here? And about the works displayed in this pavilion, which one do you like the most?
MetaEstate：METACHI's "This Side and the Other Side of Art" exhibition hall has just been completed. The first batch of exhibitions brings together many fine works, such as the NFT works of traditional well-known artists Mi Qiaoming and Yun Runde; there are also works such as kOBA, Peer Peer Kriesel, Peajey, Ellwood Chen There are many representative works of artists from various countries who are active in the field of encryption art; there are also well-known representative IP fellow uncles' constellation blind box NFT works; The design of METAESTATE designers is very good. The space of the exhibition hall is open, the light is bright, and the sense of hierarchy is excellent.
Amber: Among the works displayed in this pavilion, my personal favorite is Mi Qiaoming's "Swing Robot" NFT. Robots represent technology and the future, and in Mi Qiaoming's past works, the imagination is rich. Let this robot travel through the past and present, not only talking to the Buddha, but also keen on fashion parties. This work is full of life and imagination, and it will never be out of date. In addition, there are only 300 different robots in total, which is quite scarce.
Rx Lin: The IcarusArt.AI community has selected and sent works from our Odaily "Different Eco-City" joint exhibition in this pavilion. I personally like this piece of "Journey of Lefand Inner Eye" by young artist Ellwood Chen very much. The picture is full of rational and cold tones and intertwined with the inner emotions of the characters. There are also details in the blank space. When looking at this work, It seems that I am also looking back at myself.
Odaily: How do you plan for the future activities of "Art on this side and the other side"?
