Polkadot Ecology: Centrifuge is supported by investment institutions such as Galaxy Digital and IOSG Ventures

It's been a great journey so far and we wouldn't be able to do it without our core supporters. Not only have we launched 7 pools, but we now have over $3.5 million in TVL funding. As our product grows and matures, we decide to bring in more capital to grow the business, and it's getting better and better. Our mission to bring real-world assets on-chain has been further accelerated, and we just received $4.3 million in backing last December.

We have a lot of great investors joining us this time around. Including IOSG Ventures, Galaxy Digital HK Trading Limited, Rockaway, Fintech Collective, Moonwhale, Fenbushi, TRGC, HashCIB. A stellar portfolio like this will give us insight into traditional finance as well as the ever-growing cryptocurrency space that Centrifuge is working to bring together.

The new funding round follows a successful mainnet launch last year and the launch of Tinlake v3 in October, and now exceeds TVL by $3.5M.

Our mission is to connect real-world assets to DeFi: a mission that can bring trillions of value from traditional finance into DeFi. We are collaborating on some larger projects like using MakerDAO and Tinlake to back Dai with real-world assets, which will enable larger asset pools and provide a more attractive and democratized approach to financing assets !

• Expanding Tinlake: TVL has doubled every month since opening in October, and new pools will be launched in the coming months. Our product teams are working tirelessly to create a smoother user experience for investors and asset originators.

• Scaling with Maker: NewSilver was the first asset originator to use Tinlake, all the way to MakerDAO executives to support us. This will make it easier for other asset originators to follow suit and take advantage of the instant liquidity that Maker Vault provides. This not only benefits Tinlake asset creators, but also the DeFi ecosystem by further stabilizing and growing Dai.

• Parachain launch: Once the Polkadot parachain is launched, the Centrifuge chain plans to be one of the first parachain projects. This will allow us to share security from the Polkadot relay chain so that we can focus on the actual value-add of Centrifuge as the home of real assets on-chain.
