XCarnival is an original project positioned on the synthetic asset track. It is hoped that by lowering the threshold, more people can understand the concept of synthetic assets and participate in the development and use of applications. Friends who are better at English know that Carnival means Carnival. The Chinese name of our project is X Carnival, which means a place for everyone to play happily.

The reason for this name is: we hope to create a product gathering place with various ideas and fun.

Different from other competing products that are currently taking the high-cold route, XCarnival products will delegate more creative power to users, and the wisdom of the masses and the natural selection of the market will jointly create truly interesting and attractive products.

Liu shu_Host: Haha, the origin of the name is very interesting. It seems that there are no synthetic asset projects on BSC at present. Why do you want to do this direction?

Vivi_Guest: You are right. In fact, the current synthetic asset track is a relatively scarce direction on BSC.

Although projects such as Mirror also cross-chain to BSC, not many people use it. It is more like a temporary strategy they made to cater to the rising trend of BSC.

Synthetic assets are actually a direction with great potential. As the founder of UMA said, although he himself is one of the most authoritative experts on synthetic assets, he is still trying to explore the boundaries of synthetic assets all the time. What XCarinval wants to practice and explore this time is exactly one of the directions proposed by this man, to make the issuance of financial products popular and inclusive.

Many of the core members of our team are experienced Defi miners, especially the early BSC miners, who are very clear about the advantages of the BSC chain.

One of the important reasons for choosing BSC is its low cost of operation and its friendliness to small and medium-sized users. These qualities fit well with the direction of XCarnival.

Let’s start with a well-known example in the field of synthetic assets: the “poop market”. Some large cities in the United States have been plagued by people defecating outdoors in recent years. Liu shu_Host: Then can you briefly talk about another big category of problems that XCarnival solves? That part of the mortgage.

Vivi_Guest: Of course, this part is mainly designed for the pain points of other synthetic assets in the market.

We all know that if you want to enter several popular synthetic asset products, you can only purchase their platform currency (or their own stable currency) through stable currency. XCarinval realizes it through two functional modules so that users do not need to Buying can also obtain entry chips through mortgage loans. Vivi _Guest: Our project will also have its own stable currency called USDxc, which is mainly produced by Mint after staking assets through the Megabox function module.

We will provide an exchange pool between USDxc and mainstream stablecoins such as USDT or BUSD.

As for compatibility, we have no plans to expand USDxc to other projects for the time being, and first use it as a common bargaining chip in the project. Because it is over-mortgaged mint, coupled with a good risk control model, the security is also reliable.

Liu shu_Moderator: Synthetic assets are the product of traditional financial assets mapping to the cryptocurrency field. How to ensure that the algorithm of the oracle machine is not distorted or manipulated?

Vivi_Guest: That's a good question.

We have a module called XAdapter, because of time constraints I can’t go into too much detail, but through this module we will solve the problem that the current oracle machine is only limited to feeding currency prices.

At the same time, it is also hoped to gradually expand the tracking of off-chain data, so as to support the XArena module to carry out more types of expected games.

We already have some solutions, which will be gradually implemented in the future. At the same time, we have also opened up the interface to third-party oracle machine suppliers, so that we can work together to promote progress in this area.

Liu shu_Host: The first launch is the bsc chain, will it go to other chains in the future? The security of the project is the most concerned issue of the community. What security guarantees are there?

Vivi _Guest: BSC will be released for the first time, and will be deployed on Ethereum after the L2 solution is relatively mature.

Solana and Polygan are currently very interested in us, and they may be deployed on these two chains in the future.

We adopted a multi-chain strategy when we designed it, so it is only a matter of time.

In fact, we hope to try financial innovation through synthetic assets. Although we don’t want to make the cake too big at the beginning, from the beginning, we hope to see what will happen when financial products are released to the public.

It takes millions of dollars for a Wall Street bank to launch a new financial product. What will happen if the difficulty of issuing a new financial product is reduced through synthetic assets and the cost is reduced to less than $1,000? If the masses start to have the opportunity to innovate independently, that is, the concept of "user-generated financial products" becomes a reality, what kind of products will this crowd's creativity invent? It's hard for me to imagine at the moment, but we can find evidence from similar examples, let's take Douyin as an example.

Think about it first, before Douyin and other video platforms appeared, the cost of producing a movie or TV show was ridiculously high. First of all, we will select high-quality audit institutions for auditing. Although it does not mean that it is safe as long as it passes the audit, at least we can obtain confirmation in multiple dimensions.

The last thing I want to say is that security attack and defense is a permanent topic, but with the recent security incidents, no matter the project party, the audit agency or the BSC official, they will try their best to reduce the risk. Indeed, Synthetix and Linear Mirror are all very good projects in front of our track, but in comparison, XCarinval has our own unique advantages.

First of all, the capital entrance of these projects is relatively narrow. You need to buy their platform currency or platform stable currency to enter the market, and the USDT used for purchase is very sweet for any Defi project. XCarinval gives everyone the function of obtaining liquidity by mortgaging secondary assets, and does not need to compete with other projects for the limited USDT and other stablecoins in the market, so the capital entrance has been greatly expanded.

Secondly, their products are limited, and their appeal to the public is limited. Not many people really stay because of the products, but more for mining.

XCarinval allows the masses to use their ingenuity to create products, and let the market naturally select. Now NFT mortgage lending is a problem in the industry, because NFT liquidity is very poor, and it is difficult for the market to price it, so everyone has a headache.

XCarnival innovatively introduces a third-party platform to build a bridge between NFT mortgagers and truly knowledgeable lenders. It can be understood as Taobao/Alipay, which plays the role of an escrow.

The XBroker module is the Taobao platform - if you mortgage an NFT, the funds you want to borrow are relatively reasonable, and someone will be willing to lend you money; but if you fail to repay the loan and interest in time as agreed, then the platform will automatically transfer your mortgaged NFT when the time comes Conduct an auction, if the selling price exceeds the lending funds, the person who lent you the money will earn. If the auction fails, the NFT you mortgaged will belong to the lender.

How many people are really playing options now? I believe that no more than 1% of people play in our BSC community. So what XCarnival wants to do is to make a product that 99% of people can play.
