Plasm Network & Secret Network

Thanks to our development lead, Hyungsuk Kang, we have completed our bridge with Secret Network. This will start with our testnet before deploying to mainnet. Once the Kusama network is ready, we will build this bridge on the Shiden network (Plasm's sister network on Kusama). For our testnet deployment, we will use SecretBridge (at the testnet level) to bring Plasm to the Secret Network, and use SecretBridge (Secret's first AMM: https://scrt.network/blog/secretswap-update-amm -rewards-governance-token) against SCRT and ETH assets.

Plasm developers will be able to transfer their assets to the Secret network. Once Plasm becomes a parachain, we will deploy this bridge on mainnet (first on Shiden Network, then on Plasm Network).

Initially, the Plasm network was a Polkadot parachain candidate and served as a hub for dApps on Polkadot. However, our current focus is on infrastructure development and bridge construction.

Plasm Network 2.0 will be a multi-chain, multi-virtual machine smart contract hub powered by Polkadot. We will connect Polkadot with Cosmos, Ethereum and more chains via the Plasm network!The biggest and direct benefit for users to use this bridge is that they cansecondary title

Next step

After some extended testing on our testnet, we will launch the bridge after Plasm becomes a parachain on Polkadot. With the current EVM, we can also use this bridge between Shiden network and Secret network. This is great news for builders who want to use Shiden, Plasm's canary network, to deploy dApps.

Bridging Cosmos to Polkadot

Secret Network is a Layer1 blockchain with consensus and on-chain governance, built on the framework of Cosmos/Tendermint. Our bridge is built with Secret Network, and we will connect the Cosmos ecosystem with Polkadot. What's more, we can use this implementation for other Cosmos/Tendermint based L1 blockchains!

A major component of the Cosmos ecosystem is their Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), a system that allows different blockchains to connect and communicate with each other. Once IBC is implemented on Secret Network, the door is open for the Cosmos community to join Polkadot and vice versa.
