Bitmain's competitors are coming! Samsung is building ASIC chips for Halong Mining

Samsung is producing ASIC chips for up-and-coming mining hardware manufacturer Halong Mining, according to information disclosed by a mining equipment distributor.
On Tuesday, MyRig, an online mining equipment retailer, posted a photo of wafers on Twitter. Wafers are semiconductor materials used to manufacture integrated circuits, mostly referring to single-crystal silicon wafers. Their tweet read:
"Now the dragon is going to fly (Note: Dragon means dragon in the name of the DragonMint T1 mining machine launched by Halon Ming Company), this chip will help the DragonMint T1 mining machine. Yes, it is Samsung; yes, it is ten Nami. We're sure some people have seen some of the news in the past."
In fact, since last year, Samsung has started the development of ASIC chips specially designed for bitcoin mining. At the time, Samsung did not disclose who the buyer of the chip was, and it was tight-lipped about the company's identity, confirming only that it was a Chinese mining company.
at present,
at present,The DragonMint T1 is probably the most efficient mining machine on the market, even surpassing the performance of Bitmain’s S9 Antminer. In March of this year, Slush Pool confirmed that someone in their mining pool used Halong mining equipment to mine a block, and through a technical upgrade called "AsicBoost", the mining efficiency was significantly improved.
If Samsung supplies chips to Halong Mining, Bitmain’s dominance in the ASIC market will definitely be threatened, because as the world’s most famous chip giant, Samsung can easily increase the production of ASIC chips to meet market demand.
