Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X that Jack Dorsey supports open AI model releases, independent evaluation, and review of dangerous capabilities, believing that open-weight models allow independent researchers to reproduce results, identify problems, and develop safeguards. He opposes industry-wide restrictions on compute, training runs, and model development negotiated by current leading labs, arguing that this could make existing leading companies the only capable participants and exclude entities that could identify problems or build alternatives. Jack Dorsey stated that restricting general model releases should be a last resort, implemented only when there is independently reviewable evidence that release would significantly increase catastrophic risks that cannot be addressed through narrower measures; he hopes users can run and control AI tools on their own devices.
According to Coinglass data, $250 million was liquidated across the network over the past 12 hours, with $71.4711 million in long positions liquidated and $178 million in short positions liquidated. Among these, ETH liquidations totaled $111 million, and BTC liquidations totaled $59.5877 million.
Odaily: Tom Lee posted on X platform, agreeing with Mark Zandi's view that the Federal Reserve does not need to immediately choose between two options and can wait. Goldman Sachs estimates that the supply shock driving core PCE higher currently stands at 1.75 percentage points and will weaken by 100 basis points to 0.75 percentage points by early 2027; without rate hikes, core PCE will fall by 100 basis points. He stated that when the market is positioned for bearish news, the market may rise after the event occurs.
Odaily: OpenAI has acquired smartphone camera technology company Glass Imaging for more than $300 million. The company was founded in 2019 and had previously raised approximately $30 million in cumulative funding.
Glass Imaging was founded by former Apple engineers Ziv Attar and Tom Bishop, who had previously led Apple's Portrait Mode development team. Glass Imaging primarily uses neural networks to optimize camera systems for different smartphones, directly enhancing image quality during the shooting process to overcome the physical size limitations of phone cameras.
As of the time of publication, OpenAI has not responded to requests for comment. Multiple market reports indicate that OpenAI is developing its own hardware products, including smartphones, earphones, and AI companion devices. (TechCrunch)
Odaily News: ETF Store President Nate Geraci posted on X platform that the fundamental reason the CLARITY Act has not yet passed is that cryptocurrency is disrupting the traditional banking business model.
He stated that although there are currently multiple controversies surrounding the bill, including ethics provisions and BRCA, the core issue is that cryptocurrency is reducing the need for banks as financial intermediaries and disrupting the banking business model that relies on net interest income, as well as the political forces that support this model.
Odaily News: NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang took a phone call from U.S. President Trump on Monday local time at the All-In Summit forum event. This was not the first time Huang has received a call from Trump during work, but this time he switched to speakerphone in front of a large audience.
During the call, Trump addressed recent concerns surrounding AI development, calling them a "hoax" and stating: "Robots are not going to take over the world." Trump also discussed data centers during the call. He claimed that some communities would decline without data centers, but that these communities are now very wealthy—though he did not provide specific examples. Huang did not push back, instead saying: "We will make sure everyone benefits in America's AI race." Huang also expressed support for Trump by telling him he was in front of thousands of audience members.
Odaily News: Multiple industry insiders believe that even if the CLARITY Act fails to pass, the trend of traditional U.S. financial institutions entering the crypto and digital asset markets is unlikely to stop. A failed bill is more likely to slow down adoption rather than reverse the process.
Brian Vieten, Senior Research Analyst at Siebert Financial, stated that the passage of the CLARITY Act would provide a clearer "green light" for U.S. financial institutions to accelerate blockchain investments, launch tokenized products, and pursue related M&A. However, if the bill fails, some institutions may instead take advantage of the current relatively friendly regulatory environment to accelerate product launches and tokenization businesses originally planned for 2027 to 2028.
Ryan Rasmussen, Research Analyst at Bitwise, stated that the uncertainty surrounding the CLARITY Act is not the main factor currently hindering professional investors from allocating to crypto assets. Institutions that have already included Bitcoin in their portfolios will not withdraw their allocations solely because the bill did not pass. (CoinDesk)
Odaily reports: On-chain data shows that an amount of WLFI matching the scale of the World Liberty Financial token holdings previously disclosed by U.S. President Trump was transferred into a vesting contract in May of this year. The relevant wallet initially deposited 15.75 billion WLFI, and after burning 10% according to the rules, 14.175 billion remained, consistent with the founder allocation disclosed by Trump and worth approximately $800 million at current prices.
Under the new vesting arrangement, this portion of WLFI will undergo a two-year lock-up period, followed by gradual unlocking over three years, meaning unlocking will not begin until 2028 at the earliest. Previously, this portion of Trump's founder tokens was in an indefinitely locked state, with no clear timetable for sale.
It is worth noting that the new version of the CLARITY Act recently added stricter crypto asset ethics provisions, proposing to require senior government officials holding large amounts of crypto assets to sell the relevant interests or place them in a qualified blind trust. However, the aforementioned WLFI had already entered the vesting contract as early as May of this year, and there is currently no evidence that this arrangement is related to the new version of the bill. Odaily reports: SEC Chair Paul Atkins stated at a Solana Policy Institute event that Congress should vote to advance the CLARITY Act and send it to the President for signature as soon as possible, but regardless of whether the bill ultimately passes, the SEC will continue to push forward its crypto regulatory agenda.
Atkins said the SEC will focus on three priorities under the "Project Crypto" framework, including Regulation Crypto Assets (Reg CA), reforming transfer agent rules to incorporate blockchain into the digital ownership registration system, and establishing crypto asset custody rules for investment advisers and regulated funds. He described these three initiatives as the "three pillars" for building a regulatory framework for the issuance, transfer, and custody of digital assets in the United States. (CoinDesk)

Odaily News: DEX aggregator 0x has stated that the number of malicious Uniswap v4 Hooks has increased significantly recently. Some Hooks offer attractive prices during the quote phase but alter the execution price at settlement, thereby stealing funds from users through aggregators, wallets, and trading applications.
0x stated that after analyzing 84,163 Hooks across 6 chains, it found that as of September 11, only 19.4% were deemed safe, 54.2% were deemed malicious, and another 26.4% were likely malicious. For some trades routed through malicious v4 Hooks, users received up to 50% less in assets than the quoted amount at actual execution.
0x stated that since the beginning of this year, it has routed 81.92 million transactions with a trading volume of $42.67 billion, approximately 70% of which involved Uniswap liquidity. Currently, 0x has implemented measures such as detection and liquidity pool screening to prevent related malicious liquidity pools from entering trade routing.
Odaily report Bonk Guy posted on X platform that PONS fundamentals have continued to improve during the recent consolidation period. Over the past two weeks, even as Robinhood Chain hype somewhat declined, Pons daily revenue has consistently exceeded $1 million, with 80% of protocol revenue continuing to be used for buying back and burning PONS. More than 30% of the token supply has now been permanently burned. Additionally, Pons currently holds approximately 75% to 80% of the Robinhood Chain Launchpad market share. Based on current data, annualized fees and revenue are approximately $829 million and $159 million respectively, while PONS market cap stands at approximately $430 million. For comparison, PUMP's annualized fees and revenue are approximately $1.115 billion and $460 million respectively, with a market cap of approximately $1.75 billion.
Bonk Guy stated that PONS has the potential to reach a circulating market cap of at least $5 billion this cycle, representing over a 10x increase from current levels.
Odaily Report: Balancer Labs co-founder Marcus Hardt posted on X that he has proposed a governance proposal to gradually shut down Balancer. Balancer had previously completed a restructuring, including halting token emissions, transferring all protocol fees to the DAO, cutting the operational budget by one-third, and reducing the team from approximately 25 people to 12.5 full-time equivalents.
Marcus stated that the restructuring was completed on the cost side as planned, but revenue performance fell short of expectations. Currently, most of Balancer's protocol revenue still comes from v2, and v3 revenue has not grown enough to replace v2. Previous security incidents have also continued to affect partners' willingness to adopt v3. Marcus said he can no longer see a funded path that could change the situation, and continuing to burn through treasury funds is not reasonable. Therefore, he has proposed gradually shutting down Balancer and will not lead efforts to develop a plan for continued operations. The Balancer code will remain open source, and other teams can fork it and continue development. The relevant proposal has been submitted to the governance forum, and the final decision still rests with token holders.
Odaily News: U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent posted on X' platform, stating: The CLARITY Act is crucial to ensuring the United States wins the global new technology race. This is also why Congress passed the GENIUS Act, aimed at ensuring that stablecoin infrastructure—this revolutionary financial technology—is built in the United States.
Bessent stated that ensuring the continued prosperity of the U.S. community banking sector has been a consistent focus since he took office. The government's dual emphasis on promoting the development of new digital technologies and appropriately adjusting community bank regulation is key to both sectors jointly driving U.S. economic growth. The final draft of the CLARITY Act advances this mission by granting the Treasury Secretary additional authority to take action when deposit outflow facts change and adversely affect community banks.
Bessent said: If stablecoins cause harm to community banks, he will not hesitate to use these tools to ensure they are fully protected. Community banks are vital to U.S. economic performance and Main Street growth. Economic security is national security, and community banks play an important role in this principle.
