Seized Over $54.5 Million in Assets: UAE Police Dismantle Four Transnational Cybercrime Groups and Arrest 33 Suspects

Odaily News: Sharjah Police in the UAE announced a joint law enforcement operation with the Ministry of Interior codenamed "End of Battle," dismantling four interconnected transnational criminal networks and arresting 33 suspects from 12 different nationalities, including key leaders of the criminal organizations. These criminal networks were involved in cyber intrusions, money laundering, digital wallet theft, fraud, extortion, illegal data trading, and violent attacks. Police seized assets worth over 200 million dirhams (approximately $54.5 million), launched reviews of more than 3,000 digital wallets, and protected over 30 companies and institutions worldwide, involving assets valued at more than 65 billion dirhams (approximately $17.7 billion).
